Kingdom Hearts II Struggle swords thingy

What do u think is used to make them?

I don think it's metal cuz the blows seems too soft to be metallic. But I don think it plastic either cuz that would b WAAYY too soft to do anything.

 

Custom pcp pipe and foam.

 

I'd say some sort of extremely light, yet durable metal like titanium and foam, as darkcloud said. Something soft and padded so it wouldn't hurt that much.

 

I find that to be a hard mixture or formula...Oh well...

Still, couldn't they make it look a little more stylish than the original sword, shield, and wand...

 

I always thought they looked like gummi blocks, but most likely they aren't. Probably rubber. Like that really hard rubber that like barely flexes or bounces.

 

Well, they're not mixed...

Simply have a light metal for the base with a metal bar sticking out, then you place a thick foam covering on it.

As for me, I think it's Jello :3

 

I thought it was foam. A wooden stick with foam on it.

I assumed they were made of wood with foam around them to dampen the blow or some strong plastic or metal with foam around it.

 

Yup.That sounds logical.Besides,it was a struggle battle,so they wouldn't use a material that is able to hurt.So wood sounds just fine to me! ^_^

 

Yeah thats what I thought as well, cause they look a lot like that.

 

Metal or Wood for the handle,then some foam all over it,just dump paint on it and you've got yourself a struggle bat

 

Wouldn't it be easier to break if it was wood, rather than metal or pcp?

 

Hmm...Actually i was thinking of something else...What if each struggle sword is made from its own material...?For example:

Strengh:Is used to attack quickly and effectively(Wood + Foam)

Guard:Is used to guard against various attacks.(Metal + Foam)

Magic:Is used to perform strange attacks.(Stuffed animals stolen from lil girls + Foam)Hehe.I'm not sure about that one!But since it performs strange attacks,that would fit just fine.^_^

 

Makes sense (except for the last one). I think the only way we'd find out is if somebody tried to make them or if Square-Enix decided to make and sell them.

I always thought it would be something durable enough to take a decent amount of HP off a human being during a Struggle (yes, I have hit all the HP out of them before) and safe enough to play around with.

I think Foam and a bit of rubber. @_@

 

Take a carved piece of wood, put blue styrofoam around it, wrap some kind of tape to the base and swing away.

 

Yeah, foam, but maybe rubber. Rubber would do more damage, but they let those who wanna try, so then they would know what there up for, so I'm guessing rubber. This should have poll.
