There was a message coming in, fuzzy, and choppy. "Gu--? I am pu-- all def-- systems onl- please stay in-... Kar- is on ra- ight now and- he wants to- ll me..." The message ended before it was truly over. Eden clung to Riku, now even more scared, this wasn't a trick now... EAM meant it.

 

"Oh thats bad..."Valerie said. Riku held onto Eden. "We'll be okay in here."He said.

 

Eden whimpered, feeling that something terrible will happen, even if everything that could defend them was on.

 

"It'll be okay..."Riku said. Sora started humming a soft and gentle tune for Eden, trying to calm her.

 

Eden just couldn't calm down, she was fearing for her life, and yet... She didn't know why, even though she knew she was protected.

 

"We'll be fine, otome..."Sora whispered in a calm voice.

 

Eden couldn't settle down, she was shivering, her heart loudly yet quickly pounding.

 

Sora got an idea and went into the kicthen. "Whats wrong, Eden?"Valerie asked.

 

Eden whimpered. " I don't know... but something tells me.. that if Karl isn't dealt with, I won't--" She gasped, coughing up some blood as a stab out of nowhere below the ribcage hits Eden.

"Eden!"Riku gasped.

 

Eden held her wound, wincing. "Wha-?!?!"

 

"What happened?"Sora gasped.

 

A holographic image showed EAM with a torn bat wing, holding onto a human Karl's legs with a physical grip, she has blood on her mouth, and a lot coming from her body.

 

Sora gasped. "Oh my..."

 

" Are we... linked?" Eden coughed up some blood, there was a bloody hole i her left hand.

 

Riku gapsed and tried his best to heal Eden.

 

Eden was now unconscious, there was a faint pulse and heart beat.

 

"Eden....Eden, hang in ther!"Riku summoned his wings and did his best to heal Eden. Sora tried to help too.

 

Eden was silently breathing, there was a knocking at the Gummi Ship door.

 

"Who's there?"Sora asked, alittle wary.
