Chain of Memories Stronger Marluxia Battle?

Is it just me, or did Marluxia get stronger when I reached level 90? It was so wierd! I was so bored while leveling up so I decided to fight Marluxia to entertain myself. Then the strangest thing happened: His cards were stronger and high-valued (the numbers on his cards changed into blue, or were they already blue?)!! And I think he did more damage to me than usual. Does he really get stronger as you level up, or is it just my imagination? (Just in case you're asking, I still beat him)

 

Hmmm that does seem weird that didn't happen to me when I leveled up in the 90's range.

 

Glitch. Cards only have a blue value when a certain map card or enemy card is used (no enemy card affects the values of the opponent though). The highest value normally is either an 8 or a 0. So I say it glitched up for once and you should check if anything else happening with your game.

 

Thanks for the insight. And yeah, I know that they only turn blue in the use of a map card or enemy card. I thought Marluxia's cards turned blue and turned stronger just to keep up with my level; I thought they made it that way. *sigh* Well, it was fun to have to sweat in that battle again while it lasted.
