Well, the best advice I can give you is to calm down and breathe.

If you panic too much then you will get into the exam room and mess up because you are too busy stressing out to concentrate.

Take it as it comes, go over your notes today and before you go to bed spend an hour or so just relaxing to calm yourself down.

If you fail you fail, working yourself up about it won't change that and could actually make things worse.

Go take 5 minutes to go have a drink and a breather. Then get down to some revision and just calm down.

The important thing is to try your best. As long as you did the best you could, that is what counts.

No one, especially parents, are thrilled to see themselves fail, but it sounds like your mom's on your side here. It's not the end of the world if you fail your final, trust me. I failed two classes last year, and I was scared and ashamed to face my parents. Yet, I stand before you. If you do fail, well, you'll know what to expect when you take the class next year. Trust me, everything will be alright.

My first advice, calm down. You won't remember what you study if you're panicking. Secondly, don't cram. Sounds like a paradox, I know, but all you have to do is learn the topic. Reviewing what you already know over 9000 times is not going to make you learn it better. Third, once you get into the room, relax. Know in your mind that you learned all you could, and now all you have to do is put it into practice. Don't strain your mind trying to remember every last detail of the class. Trust me, if you truly learned the material, it'll come back to you when you need it, regardless of whether you can remember it off the top of your head.

I'm sure your parents care more about you passing the class than some stupid award. Are you in high school/its overseas equivalent? Then definitely don't worry. The parts of your education that really matter are in college. Employers don't look at high school records nearly as closely as college records. High school is useful, really, just for getting into college, and if I could get into a major state school with a 2.9 GPA and no extra-curricular activities, so can you. You sound like you're doing better than I was, anyways.

It'll be ok. Pass or Fail is not the rule of the world. This one test is stressful but you'll live through it. And your parents will be there for you. You could even ask your mom to help quiz you for the test

And breathe and take a break from studying, do something active. And drink Chai, it's delicious!

I'm a bit late on this, but for future reference try to not stress out. I know, it doesn't sound easy. Make sure you do things you like and balance with what ever work you need to do. What ever you do, don't overload yourself, because that's the worst. I'm sure everything will get better.

Whenever I freak out about grades/exams etc, think about what that exam will mean to you five years from now. Sure, it's a huge deal right now and it'll feel like the end of the world if you let the stress get to you, but in the long run, it is just one exam in one year of your academic career. Your parent's disappointment will be short-term as well!

Try to take it easy. If you feel yourself stressing, do something to take your mind off of whatever's stressing you out. Do you draw or write? Try doing that. Or take some music with you and go for a walk around the block to clear your head.

Whatever you do, don't worry yourself into a rutt. If anything, worrying about stuff will make it worse.

In between your exams, reward yourself with your favorite activity to let yourself veg out and relax.

Stress is a normal part of life. It validates that you're still alive.
