Matt thought Raina was talking to him for a moment and frowned, then he saw she was glaring at the mademoiselle and let out a sigh of releif. He hadn't made another mistake.

 

"y r u acting like such a snoby brat!!!???!!!"

 

"Don't be impertinent and show some respect. This is a bad enough experience for me as it is. I expected to be treated so much better than this."

 

"well if u treated othetrs better then people would treat u nice and not do this!" she said dumping a cup of water on her

 

"That is it. This company will definitely be destroyed once my father hears of this and no one on board this ship will ever find work again. They will all be ruined thanks to you, you uncultured ruffian."

Matt put his hand up to stop Raina, eyes wide.
"I am so sorry, mademoiselle!" Matt turned to Clarisse pleadingly, pulling a small clean rag from his belt and giving it to her to dry off. "My apologies!" He took her bag again, "Please let me help you. I'll get you to your room right away, miss. Would you like something to drink in the meantime?"

 

"u will have to get through my Daddy to do that! don't u recignise me? "

 

"Hardly, but by the way you talk, you are not well educated. My father is the head of the Dubois Shipping Corporation, that is about to take over this pathetic little company. He is a business magnate and extremely powerful. I already run four major companies. I certainly have never heard of you and never want to again."

 

"You can't do that!" Matt sputtered, eyes wide as plates. "Do you have any clue how many people would be out of a job if you bought this ship?"
Matt's mind buzzed around. Erin, Zack, so many people would be unimployed, and he himself would be homeless.

 

"my father runs that big chain of hospitals and and that compiny that is always mingling with ur dads but if u wanna be this way...

Clarisse smiled. "That is not my concern, but it is Fathers latest acquisition. Of course the future of this ship is highly dependent on my report. Father trusts my opinion. By the time this ship reaches it's destination she will belong to the Dubois Shipping Corporation. There is nothing you can do. Her previous owner is a broken and failed businessman who failed at this venture as he has failed at many others."

Matt stared her right in the eyes, his own narrow as slits. "Don't you dare talk about the captain like that! He's a great man and takes good care of this ship and eveyone on it!"


"Mr. Cruise!" The captain came up next to them, nodding at Clarrise. "Afternoon mademoiselle. Quite a bright day isnt it?" He turned back to Matt. "You are to speak to our guests as high figures on this ship, Mr. Cruise."

 

"he was only difending u sir!" Erin said

"see where I'm coming from?" Raina asked

 

"Well I certainly know your sort and you do not have my father wrapped around your little finger. You are no one as far as I can see other than a pathetic little girl with an ego. The fact you are in a lower class cabin says everything to me. This ship will be the first to be scrapped now as I am having to put up will more annoyance."

The captain turned to Clarisse. "Please mademoiselle. Accept my apologies. I will be giving you free access to all dinners and drinks are also on us. I'll let Erin and Mr. Cruise get you a towel and It will be brought straight to your room. I will show you the way."

 

"I doubt that. The Hospital Conglomerate is in deep financial problems at the moment and the Dubois Empire is saving it. One call and your father is in the workhouse where he belongs and you with him. Please stop wasting my time. If you were the daughter of a magnate you would not behave the way you do. Now Captain, please escort me to my quarters and have this personage removed from my presence."
