Stranded

ooc: well, They landed on the island, Clarrise is having a change of heart I think and Matt is feeling a little home sick without the boat. It's the day after they got to the island and It's morning so everyone are just waking up now.


Matt gave Clarrise a low bow like he did all his superiors, maybe lower than usual though. He knew she had insisted that they were equals on the island but he didn't see it that way. He was incredibly thankful to her as he knew some of the passengers blamed the crew for the ship sinking.
'Sea in my blood. I like that feeling...'

 

ooc: They are stranded on an island waiting for help. Matt seems to be feeling guilty and Clarisse has dropped her work persona and is proving that she is neither a spoilt brat or a helpless woman.

bic: Clarisse took the fish to the area where they were having the fires and lit one. She prepared the fish before cooking them over the fire, speared on sticks. Some of the passengers were behaving like spoilt bats and blaming everyone else for a natural phenomenon. They could get their own breakfast and leave the crew alone as far as she was concerned.

 

Matt took a step to go sit near the fire but the sound, the rumble he'd heard last night echoed from the forest a few yards up the beach. He raised an eyebrow, taking a few steps closer and pearing intently into the forest. "Hello?" He whispered.

 

Clarisse picked up a burning brand and followed Matt. There would be wild animals around and she would protect him. She prayed that they would find a good cave or easily defended spot.

 

*Raina gets attacked by lil kids*

"NO! Not play time. Wh- wow!" she said falling "u guys r tough"

 

Matt listened but heard nothing more. He wondered what sort of beast had made such a noise.
He saw Clarisse heading his way and wiped the confusion off his face. "Ready, miss Clarisse?"
He saw Raina playing with some of the younger kids and smiled.

 

*Raina gets tackled by the kids*

 

"Whenever you are I guess. I like the idea of exploring. It will give people some excitement and something to take their minds off feeling sorry for themselves. You should eat breakfast first though.


ooc: Got to go. Goodnight.

 

"i Surender! I Surender!"

 

Matt grinned. "That's alright. I'm not hungry, miss." He'd let the passengers eat thier bellies full. He never really ate much anyways. "I have to see to some passengers before we leave though. Some insist to be treated as royalty even stranded on this island."

He walked over to where Raina was and shooed the kids off of her, helping her stand. "Morning Sleeping beauty. How are you this morning?"

 

"I'm good...u?"

 

"Alright....how's Mr. Tomise doing?" He neglected to tell her of the animal that he had heard watching their camp last night. No need to worry her.

 

"he's good. I have 3 things 4 u"

 

Matt raised his eyebrows. "Yeah? And what's that?"

 

*she takes off a dimond heart necolice.*

"thats 4 being so great."

*she gives him a cristal dolfin*

"that is 4 being so niceto my dad, and this is 4 being so nice to me"

*kiss*

 

Matt was stunned at first, completely unsure what to do. He'd never kissed a girl before. Not once in his life. Not even a mother. He felt his face burn red.

 

*Raina blushes*

 

Matt smiled stupidly at her. "Er...thank you miss...that's very kind of you but..." He tugged his collar happiness making his neck burn. "I...don't think I can accept these." He motioned towards the dolphin and the necklace to tell her he was okay taking the third thing she''d given him.
"They're...expensive you see...and...I just couldn't."

ooc: I have to go. My bro needs to do...who knows what. C ya tomorrow.

Clarisse saw what had transpired and smiled. It seemed that there was always hope even in the dark hours. Being stranded was being overshadowed by the young love that was blossoming. She turned towards the interior of the island and began walking. It seemed that she was in the way here.
