Nah, do both. This is good. I dislike the fact that I can't distinguish the stock. You should ease up on the smudging on the focal a bit. I like your choice of text positioning. It's not the best, but props for trying something different. But the text is diverting from the focal, plus, it needs a bit more blending. I like the simple color scheme. I'd advice you get photoshop, since it's by far better than GIMP, but if you can't, then do continue in this. You're good.
