Chain of Memories ???story cudve been beter???

yeah i wish that they would have added new worlds
but it was fun fighting those bosses again

 

sadly, it was removed, they could have made an intersting berserk gorrila fight.

 

The purpose of Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories was to serve as a bridge between games and also introduce Organization XIII in a way. I hated the card system for one thing, that should just go. I feel like some of the Organization members could have been characterized a bit better before they were killed off.

 

I enjoyed CoM as much as any of the other KH games. I know a lot of people hated the card system, but I didn't mind it all that much. Storyline was excellent and we got the chance to play as Riku!

I'll admit that Sora's ending was a bit too sappy, though.

 

It was fun, but the storyline became slightly repetitive after a while. He goes to next floor, beats heartless with cards, and the occasional boss. After near the end, he finally fights an org member.

 

If you ask me the overall story was probably the best of the games, it's just it didn't work well mechanic-wise. Thankfully, it's a fairly short game in comparison to the other titles in the series and you didn't have to go back to worlds over and over like in KH2.

 

I think the COM storyline was pretty decent considering it came out on the GBA. That was my main problem with the game is that it came out on a handheld system at first, so it was really restricted to what it could do with both the gameplay and storyline. And I'm sure we can all agree that Nintendo isn't known for the power of it's hardware, so I'm pretty happy with the way the story turned out. plus you got to play as Riku, who (at least in KH1 and COM) was the most badass character ever. although I wont argue that the story could do with a little improving. Sora's and Riku's stories seemed rushed. you go from one repetitive level to the next and before you know it, you're fighting the final boss. especially once you figure out the best strategy in the game, which I did, it become super easy. and by the second floor, which is way too early, Sora doesn't have a single memory left of the worlds he visited. I think they should've stuck to the PS2 in the first place and made COM at its full potential. Still, like I said the story is decent enough for the GBA that I still think KH is the best game ever.

 

I don't see the point in all of these different kind of kingdom hearts games I dont see why they couldn't just do kingdom hearts 1, kingdom hearts 2, 3, and so on the only one I think that was nesscesary was kingdom hearts 2 final mix and that wasn't even in english text. not to be a b!tch about this. I just think they wasted time trying to make all of these other kingdom hearts video games when they probably could've been done making kingdom hearts 3 already. BUT the story line I have to give them some credit about but not making all of those games just to get to the point.

 

They make all of the spinoffs and extras because they have more time to flesh out the story, and more importantly they can make more cash and more fans. It's all about money =/.

 

CoM had one of the best story out of the KH series. It was more mature than KH2. Introduced the Organization without revealing too many secerts adding to the interest of them. Our first look at Namine and a glimpse at Replica project. Now I'm not a fan of the card system but the story was in my opinion was pretty good.

 

Screw that. Com was the best game in the whole series. The gameplay, story, plot twist, ending, opening, character development, and everything else was better.

 

The CoM gameplay wasn't that great, but the story still was pretty solid.

 

Better then the other crap we had.

 

I actually enjoyed the gameplay for Kingdom Hearts. Kingdom Hearts 2, on the other hand, felt too button mashy for me. Considering the action command was pretty much how to beat the game.

actually i thought this one had the best story out of all 3 on the ps2 the first one u get sucked into a new world and meet people to defeat the ultimate darkness(cliched so much) kh 2 u find out u defeated the wrong enemy so u and ur friend which used to be enemies team up to defeat the real ultimate enemy(cliched but not as much) this story was very deep and complex and really in order to understand it i think it was required to play the first AND second one to really understand what was going on, the gameplay wasnt the greatest ,but the story made up for it (and so did the marluxia fights)
