Stormbreaker 2: Unexpected mission

"Oh, right." She nodded looking back towards him. "So, what do you think they're doing?"

 

Nate noticed she wasn't blushing anymore and shrugged, "killing a lot of people though i dont know the target... they call the plan 'Invisible Sword'"

 

"That doesn't exactly sound good..." She mumbled as she thoughtfully bit her manicured index fingernail.

 

"no that's why im going to Vennice...."

 

"When the going get tough the tough get going huh?" She giggled

 

Nate laughed a little, "guess so, you gunna ocme with me? i'm more doing this for the good of people.. not for MI6..."

 

"I'd like too, but I dunno... I might not be able to get time off..."

 

Nate shrugged,"sometime you're going have to learn to stop going by the rules"

 

"I just learnt how to play by the rules, give me a chance."

 

"fine let's go see if you can get time off, then we have to make a visit to a very fat man...."

 

"A fat man?" Melody asked condesendenly.

 

Nate smiled, "Mr. smithers, the gadjet dude.."

 

"Ah, the Real Life Q." She laughed

 

Nate laughed with her and said "alright so who's your boss to see if you can get time off"

 

"I better go see her on my own." Melody sighed as she stood up "Just so you know, she hates me so I doubt I will get the time. How long do you think we'll need?"

 

"bout a week but at LEAST 4-5 days..."

 

"Well, there goes my Summer Holiday." She sighed "Oh well."

 

"Eh, sorry" Nate said Guiltly

 

"Would of just spent it on my own most likely." She shrugged "Unless some guy started hitting on me."

 

Nate laughed and looked out the window hiding from blushing....
