its..... rough... like around the edges of the head, it has a jagged circles.... im not sure if that is what your aiming for, but over all its good ^^

This was kind of a rush on Photoshop, I was really testing the different layers and stuff.

But I could've done better xD

 

I like the idea, especially with the colors on the fur.

If you spent a little more time and refined the lines and the shading, I think it will turn out really cool :)
