Stones of Fate

Cathy turned down an alley way, thinking about her life, trying to remember the missing pieces, She sighed and kepted walking.

 

Velox followed her hidden by an illusion

 

From atop the roof tops, what appeared to be people in torn up cloaks, were following cathy.


"Well, hope they can handle it" rob muttered

BIC: Cathy glanced behinded her then turned into a dfferent ally, she looked at the homeless people and pitied them, she stopped at a crying child and handed her a few silver coins, the girl thanked her and left. she stood up and saw homeless coming to her asking for money. Cathy shook her head and broke into a run.

 

Velox followed her silently "Something is about to happened i can feel it"Velox though

 

As cathy ran, infront of her, from out of shadows, were the cloaked people, as they approached her slowly. Little cinks could be heard as they moved towards her.

 

Cathy stopped and looked at the cloaked people "er..excues me." she said, she saw them slowly coming closer, nervously she took a step back. okay.... she thought.

 

One of there hoods came down. and there stood just one of the puppets, with its jaw dropped, and what seemed like a tube sticking out of it, as suddenly, from out of the tube of the one puppet, bullets began to fire out, straight at cathy

 

Kain was sitting on the roof of his house with a glass of water, just looking at the sky. He usually liked to do this when he needed to think something carefully. ''Why am I getting involved this? Whatwas I thinking when I kept this stone? And why am i actually considering going to Tokyo with them? Is it because I don't trust them? When they do get all the stones, what's Rob gonna do with them?''

He just shook his head and fully lied down.''Oh, what a mess!''

 

Velox appeared in front of Cathy, Grabbing every Bullet "Stupid puppet"he said

 

ooc: lol, super speed can deal with some things, but lets see how it does with ALL of the puppets

bic: Suddenly, all of the hoods went down, revealing puppets, as not only did their jaws drop, with the tube sticking out, but also the bottem of their arms folded back, revealing what seemed sort of like gattling guns, as they all began to fire out bullets at cathy and velox

 

Cathy almost screamed, then started to imagine a steel wall around her and velox, try to use the saphire's power to block the bullets, "what are these things?" she asked.

 

When the bullets came close, directly in the area where the steel wall that cathy was imagining would be, they did not get reflected, but simply stopped in midair.

ooc: the second you let down the wall, they should fall. Of course, since you have telequinises, you could always just send them right back......

 

"Puppets" Velox said "probably controlled by a hunter from somewhere"

 

"eat bullets!" she shouted, and sent the bullets back at the same sped which they had come, she used a memory to help her focus. Hunter? another one? she thought.

 

"Lets cut their strings"Velox said Jumping 10 meters up in the air

 

Kain had heard the gun fire and headed in that direction. He jumped off the roof, and tried to think of where the sounds were coming from. He kept running around until eventually, he found Cathy and Velox with a bunch of puppets.

He gave them a casual grin.''Did I miss something?''

 

"what strings?" Cathy asked, she couldn't see any strings. She saw Kain and rolled her eyes.

 

All of the puppets were imploded with bullets, but they continued walking forward, just not as steadily. One of the puppets came forward, and instead of a tube coming from it's tube, there was what looked like a speaker. "Very good. You already have figured out how the puppets are controlled. Aren't you the smart @$$es"

 

"Puppets don't usually move on their own"Velox said as he came down towards the Puppets
