Stones of Fate

" Oh..... sorry." Lilly said sitting back down. " That was imbarrasing." She thought.

 

"yes I'm a hunter I have been one sins i came to the US"Velox said

 

"THe hooded men, could be anything." rob said to seth. "Hunters, puppets, who knows. They might be the ones who have the real control in the end. Every puppet has its master, does it not?" rob said to seth. "You get the point. Some hunters can restrain. Others have so many stones that they have gone mad with power. So many things in the world, slaughterings and such, were done by those people. it is a true shame" rob siad, shaking his head.

"Now, any other questions?" rob asked.

 

"you didn't come from the US?" Cathy asked Velox, she remebered when she lived in England.

 

"no I came from Norway 4 years ago"Velox said

 

"I do. I have a question."

Laulite stood up and walked over to the group, looked at each of them, then popped another candy in his mouth. He addressed Rob, but didn't really seem to be talking to him.

 

"What do you need to know?" rob asked lin

 

"thats different." Cathy said, she watched the clouds for a while.

 

Laulite gave a small smile.

"I considered what you said yesterday, and from watching the events in the classroom today, I think I believe what you say."

Here he paused.

"So, my question is, do you want me in your group?"

 

"Of course Laulite" rob said to laulite. "After all, if you have been listening in, then you should know that you posseses similure power to the power that we have" rob said with a grin.

 

"Yes, I have been listening intently." Laulite answered. What he didn't tell Rob, is that he knew all of this already, instead of just learning about it now. He gave a start. How did Rob know I had been listening? Probably saw me, sit down over there, and just let me listen in. He grinned back, his eyes not betraying his surprise. "I think I would like to get away from my parents for a while." Clever, Rob. Clever.

 

"i just realised something." Cathy said,

 

"Good. After all, it is not like you guys can stay in this town anyway" rob said to them all. "Hunters are coming, puppets are already here. How many lives do you think will be taken. You saw what happend to poor matt's parents, didn't you lilly? You got to see there heads. You can't even imagine what they probably did to them before that"

 

"what?"Velox asked

 

Lilly looked away remebering the horrible memory.

 

Laulite heard that Matt's parents died in a fire, but after hearing that Rob had to say, he guessed that is not what happened. He took out a unopened candy from his pocket, but not realizing it had the wrapper on it, tossed it into his mouth. He was about to say his opinion on the death's of Matt's parents, but realized what he did. He stuck his tongue out with the candy on it. He took the candy between his fingers and unwrapped it. He puit the wrapper back in his pocket and the candy in his mouth. He looked back up at the others. "Well, from you, Rob, say about the deaths of Matt's parents, I assume they didn't die in a fire. Am I correct?"

 

"Of course not. What was found on that night, was his parents house on fire. Matt and lilly were there, and they had the delight of finding some of the puppets, which you will see soon enouph might I add, and seeing them show matt and lilly his parent's heads"

 

Lilly closed her eyes. Her head still turned away.

 

Laulite, knowing what puppets look like, made a face. "They must have been looking for a stone, but mistakenly thought Matt's parents had it." He kept talking, apparently unaware of Lilly's discomfort, "It must have been a terrible experience for his parents." He paused, "And for Matt, to find the heads of his parents."

 

"Well then, I guess that if there no more questions, then we can finally continue to move on with buissness. Of course, lilly, tonight, I will have to ask for you to finally tell matt what is going on. After all, we are going to need him to join, won't we? Of course, he, I want everyone to be on gaurd around at all time. Know this. He contains the agate, a stone of the devil. We do not want him falling into the wrong hands, now do we" rob said to everyone
