Stones of Fate

Lilly stood up and started walking off. She looked back to make sure Matt was coming.

 

Laulite peered at the stones as if they were going to glow or something. This makes no sense. This is just a necklace I recieved from my mother, nothing special. He frowned. "Lucky? I am.....lucky," he mumbled to himself. Lin suddenly realized that his book was on the ground. He picked it up and placed it beside him. He lowered his other hand so the necklace rested on his lap. He then looked up at Rob, "This makes the necklace worth a little more, but for some reason, you don't seem to be at the point of our conversation yet. So I ask you again, why are these stones so special?"

"A stone like this helped niandratals to evolve into human beings, who could meet, stand up straight, and such. What do you think stones that are even more powerful then that will do to a human being? It won't exsactly change their appearance, but it will make them a lot better then a normal human being" rob said to laulite.


Matt followed behind. He was silent

 

Lilly walked off the bus and started heading to her house. " Why so quiet?" She asked.

 

Laulite looked down at the stones. Greed flashed through his eyes, but when he looked back up at Rob, they were emotionless. "This is very interesting, though, I am wondering if you could prove what you are saying. It would be wonderful if I could believe you, but you better do it quick, we are almost at my stop."

 

"Alrite" rob said. Since he still had the orange glasses on since his eyes were orange, he was able to see the rise in heat the quick second that laulite looked at the stones. "Gimme one of those candy rappers of yours" rob said.


"I just don't feel like talking is all" matt said to lilly

 

Cathy hit him, "what the hell!" she shouted.

 

"What was that for"Velox said

 

" Oh well that's ok." Lilly said and was silent after that.

 

"doesn't matter why, but why did you do that?" Cathy said,

 

"to give you the power of the sapphire"Velox said

 

Matt felt sort of bad, now that his being silent made lilly become silent, since she didn't seem like the kind of person who liked to be quiet. "So, what is your house like?" matt asked, as he speeded up, so that he could walk next to her.

 

"what do you mean?" Cathy asked curiously.

 

Laulite blinked. "Okay." He pulled out one of the unopened candies and took the wrapper off. He put the candy in his mouth and held out the wrapper for Rob to take.

 

"that sapphire of yours is one of many stones that can grant a human strange powers"Velox said

 

" It's nothing much. It's boring, that's for sure." She said.

 

Rob snapped his fingers, as above his index finger, there was a lighter sized fire, as he helled the candy rapper over it, and the rapper began to melt, due to the heat of the flame. "There"


"Oh, any siblings" matt asked

 

" Yeah I have a younger sister, Laura." Lilly said.
