Stones of Fate

Cathy screamed and turned to face him, "what do you want?!?" she shouted.

 

"Take it easy Cathy. relax I'm not here to hurt you or anything"Velox said

 

"Ya, I would" matt said to lilly. He didn't exsactly show it, but he was very happy. If only he knew that behind it all, it was just apart of rob's manipulative plans.

 

"take it easy? you appear out of nowhere and freaking me out, first the phone call and now this?" Cathy said stressfully.

 

"a phone call?"Velox said "Sorry Cathy but that wasn't me"

 

Laulite dropped his book and looked up at Rob. He looked at the candy in his hand and popped it into his mouth. Looking back at Rob he said, "It is strange you know about my necklace when the only time I pulled it out today is in class. You are not in my class." Lin pulled out his necklace. He dangled it in between him and Rob. Still not looking away from Rob, he continued, "Do you collect stones like the ones in my necklace?" He smiled, "I am only wondering since I overheard you say something about 'stones' at recess."

 

Lilly smiled. " Ok. I'll see you on the bus then." She said and walked out of the classroom.

 

"i know it wasn't you, you wouldn't sound as if your choking would you?" Cathy answered, She sat down and closed her eyes, breathing hard.

 

"No, but back to why I'm here can i see that stone of yours?"he asked friendly

 

Cathy gave the Sapphire to Velox with her eyes still closed.

 

"Alrite" matt said to lilly.

"Well yes, I do collect them." rob said. He had his orange glasses on, in order to hide the fact that his eyes were orange at the time. That was how he had found the chrystals in the first place. "I have one right here as a matter a fact" rob said as he opened up his palm, showing the amber stone, that was literally embeded in his palm

 

the Sapphire started to glow "perfect" Velox said

 

Lilly walked onto the bus and sat down.

 

Laulite stared at the stone. Without comment he grabbed Rob's wrist and pulled it close to his face. After examining the stone, he dropped Rob's hand and studied his own stones. "Your stone is Amber, is it not?" He asked, like it was everyday to see a stone embedded into someone's palm. "What makes these stones so special?" He asked as he popped another candy into his mouth.

 

"Tell me, do you ever think about how we became humans? Did you ever think about the theory of evolutions. About how we used to be niandratals?"rob asked (yes, it is spelt niandratal. Niandrathal, as I have learned, was the way that some of the idiots said it since they could not pronounce it right).


Matt sat down as well, picking a seat that was, sort of, near lilly's.

THe bus doors closed, and it began to move.

 

Lilly stared out the window thinking of what she was going to say to her parents.

 

Laulite looked up at Rob, his hand twitched as if he was going to reach into his pocket for another candy, "Naturally."

 

"Well a stone, like these, caused that. Of course, the stone that caused it is gone now, but we still got all of these other ones. From what I have seen, you have those types of stones, right in that necklace of yours. 3 of them, as a matter a fact. You are pretty lucky" rob said.


The bus stopped at lilly's stop. Matt waited for her to get up so that he could just follow

 

Cathy opened her eyes and siad "what the hell?" as she stared at the spphire.

 

"this may feel a bit weird"Velox said as he pushed the sapphire into her forhead until half of it was sticking out
