Stones of Fate

Matt sighed. "God, what a pain in the @$$" he thought.

The bell rang, and it was finally time for everyone to have recess. Matt got up, and slowly walked outside

 

Lilly lifted her head up and walked outside.

 

"how" Seth said gettin up

 

"You could almost say that they are a we bit........magical" rob said with a lauph

 

"what do you mean magical" Seth said

 

"Those stones, though I am not to sure myself what yours do, have a special property which allows the user to use some sort of ability which is almost unaccomplishable for a normal human" rob said, and as he made sure that his hand was infront of his own body so that no one could see, he snapped his fingers, and over his index finger, a fire the size of a fire made by a lighter, burned.

 

"so what must i do in order to awaken these powers" Seth said

 

Lilly sat ontop of a picnic table.

 

"For those stones, I have no idea. The normal ones never really activate except for when you least want them to" rob said with a small chuckle. "Of course, me and a couple of friends can assist you in trying to learn how to use those stones, and even others" rob siad with a wide grin. "Of course, we only help out those who are in with us. So what do ya say. Wanna join my little group?" rob asked.

 

"fine if it will help me avenge my parents then so be it" Seth said

"Great. Shake on it then" rob said, holding out his hand, to shake hands.

Rob and seth shook hands, and then rob said "Now I have to go speak with someone", as he walked over to lilly. "So what did he say?" he asked

Personality: Lin is smart, but shy. He never stands out in a crowd. He gets top marks in his class. He is polite when spoken to, but has no friends. Lin loves to read. Weird quirks of his are that he always has little candies in his pocket. He seems to have an endless supply of them, always popping one into his mouth. He hates to be touched. If he is, he cringes and is tense for a few hours afterwards. Also, he hates wearing shoes. Overall, he is nice to be around, but lives in his own world.
History: Laulite’s grandparents were born and raised in Japan. They had one child, a girl, who wanted to travel to America. When she graduated college, she traveled to America and started a business. She met a man and they fell in love. They married, and decided to move to a nice town, away from busy streets, to have a family. Since they both were filthy rich, they bought a huge house in a place called Stony Point, in New York. This is when Lin was born. What more could these parents want? A big house, having a lot of money, living in a nice neighborhood, but most of all, they had a son. They spoiled Lin to no end, but he didn’t become a bratty, spoiled, rich kid. Instead, it was quite the opposite. When he was old enough to go to school, his parents insisted on a private tutor, but Laulite wanted to go to a public school. His parents did not understand his reasons, nor did they care, as long as their son was happy. He was, right up to high school, each year insisting to go to a public school. Before school started, his mother pulled him aside and handed him a necklace, telling him that it was his grandfather’s. It had been in the family for generations and she wanted Lin to have it. He did not want to where it, but keeps it in his pocket along with his candies. He studies the three stones embedded into the necklace. These three stones, Lin guessed, are Cat’s eye, Pipestone, and Sodalite.

Okay, um, how should I start?

I read all 35 pages, okay, I skimmed all 35 pages so I know what is going on.

 

ooc: alrite dude. And since it is still sort of in the slow stages of the story, don't expect TO much action, though we are really starten to get into it. Summer vacation gonna start in a few days here after all.

bic: "Sheesh. You shouldn't just say "give it awhile and think about it", when he already says that he will. Your friend there is supposed to be with you since you have that holy stone that I gave you. I don't want him to do somthing stupid" rob said. "Either way, it is fine. I have some more people joining up, so you will see some familiar faces." rob said to lilly

 

" Well soooorryyy. I don't want to force him to come live with me." She said.

BIC: Laulite walked out of the school, book in one hand. He was in deep thought, as he didn't seem to notice anyone else. He sat down on an empty bench and opened the book. Lin popped a candy into his mouth. He seemed to read a couple pages, but abruptly looked up and stared at Rob.

 

"Consider this. The fact that he is going to that hearing is enouph. If he gets foster parents, and he has no one to even talk to, what do you think is gonna happen. You remember the last time when he lost it? That stone of his is dangerous. It's evil" rob said seriously.
