Stones of Fate

Matt sat down at a table all by himself, as he pulled out his lunch. It was chicken, the hospital food kind of chicken though. He ate it, hating the tastelessness of it.


"Good. A friend of mine told me about you. Your the guy with the two weird looken stones, aintcha?" rob asked seth

 

Lilly sat down next to Matt. " Mind if I sit here?" She asked.

 

"you mean this" Seth said taking out the Alexandrite and the Amethyst

 

"Yes, that. Those are some rare stones you got there really. You ever wonder what their worth is?" rob asked seth.


"Sure" matt said lazily. He really didn't even care

 

" Thanks." She said and sat down. " So um how are you feeling?" SHe asked.

 

"i lost my parents because of them" Seth said

 

Kain was looking up every single book he can find about rare minerals, but alas, it was all in vain. Then he went on the library's computer and went on his da's museum's website to see what he could find out about where it came from. THe only thing it said was '' It was found in the Roman ruins''.
He gave out a small dammit, and the librarian gave him a snobby hush. After that, he picked up his stuff and headed for the cafeteria.

 

"How were they killed?" rob asked.


"I'm miserable. How else am I. I am about to go up for adoption after I just my parents decapatated heads." matt said miserably as he layed his forhead agianst the cafeteria table.

ooc: guys, listen, my mom needs the computer. I could be gone from 5 minutes to 2 hours, idk. So I gonna say goodbye right now just in case.

BIC: " I know. I'm sorry. But I was thinking, since you have no where to go..... um well you could stay with me if you want." She said feeling kind of acward.

 

"some hooded people came up to us when we walking down the streets. We saw some cloaked people. My dad told me to take the stones and run while they hold them off and so i did and when i got far enough i waited for an hour and returned back to see their dead bodies." Seh said

"Boy, what a bummer. Tell me, how much do you know about those stones. You know that they are valuable, but do you know what they can do?" rob asked.


Matt raised his eyebrow. "Well, umm........" he said. He was weirded out by the question, since what she asked was just......well.......weird. He barely knew her, and she wanted him to live at her house. "Well, mmmm, would it be ok with your parents then?" matt asked.

 

"no nothing really" Seth said

 

" Well I'm not sure. But you don't have too. It's just I know how it feels to go to an adoption home. And it's not very fun." She said.

 

Matt sighed. "No, no, I would be perfectly happy to live at your place" matt said. It still sounded awkward to him though.

Rob grinned. "You want revenge for your parents deaths?" rob asked seth. "Cause those things can help you with that"

 

" Ok but I'm serious it's up to you. I don't want to make you do anything you don't want to. And you don't have to make your desicion right now. I'll let you think about it ok?" She said standing up.

 

"Alrite." matt said. He sighed for a moment. "If you say so"

 

Lilly walked over to another table, feeling like a complete idiot. " What was I thinking!? Of course he doesn't want to live with me! I barley know him!! Agh why don't I think before I say things?" She thought.

 

Rob shook his head. "Sheesh, she still needs to learn. I gave her that dam stone for a reason" rob thought.

 

She sat down and put her head to the table and groaned. " I made a complete fool out of myself!! AGH!! She thought.
