    That game came out in 1998.

    I was five years old. I didn't even hear about the Half Life series until five years ago. I didn't know it was popular until two years ago when I got Portal and found out they take place in the same universe. I didn't own any of the games until last year when I bought the Orange Box so I could own Portal legally. I still haven't beaten any of the Half Life games that I own.
