Lots of states in the Northeast and East have been declaring a state of emergency due to winter storms, and now Tennessee, which is in the South, I believe, has declared one. It sounds like the storm systems are maybe moving our way? If the high pressure ridge would start sinking / weakening (and maybe it's already begun), we could likely get those storm systems.
>we meaning you Yeah gee thanks. Don't worry- Misty, Fearless, myself, and other people trapped in NY will start a snowpocalypse gang and survive the emergency storms and severe cold by creating a winter version of Mad Max :|
I live in Pennsylvania and commute to school and my school hasn't cancelled classes once because they're all "if it looks okay on campus, it looks good everywhere" yet there's like four inches of snow sitting in the parking lot of my apartment building because they don't care people actually have to leave early for places.
- State of emergency. Hahahahahaha it's been life as usual, what're you talking about. Snowdrifts that are over my head? Nbd, we apparently live in the damn tundra. The most interesting thing that's happened lately because of the weather is that they closed the elementary schools due to it being -30 Degrees Fahrenheit. Only the elementary schools.
*Meanwhile, over here in Washington (the State)* Or create the winter version of Caesar's Legion from Fallout New Vegas.
we get six inches and the entire region goes into a panic and closes every school and business for three days
I have a friend in Florida who thinks that 40 degrees Fahrenheit is cold. He wouldn't last two minutes in Ohio.
