Kyram turned around.
"Hm? What is it, vor'e? Is there a problem?"

 

"I don't have a good feeling about this mission, sir," Trig said, shaking his head. "The fact that we have a Jedi," he spat, "I can't help but feel that we can expect heavy Federation resistance."

"Not only that," he continued watching Ashley walk away, "I don't trust our new member."

 

Kyram sighed.
"Well...we'll see. Loyalty proves itself in time. We know close to nothing about this mission or of Ashley. If there is heavy resistance, then it's good we have a Jedi on our side. And perhaps we'll get a forewarning of our brother's alliance through the Jedi's actions."
Kyram smirked. "Now get some rest, commando. We've got a busy day ahead of us."

 

"Yes sir," Trig saluted before marching off to his quarters. When he reached his bunk, he lay down on the mat before going into a deep meditation.

 

Ashley sorted though his poisons and mixed some into bullets. " sleepers," said ashley " and slugs what should i choose? " looked at the emp shot " perfect," said ashley " this should take down any thing electric and shut it down if a shot to the head lethal it can shut down minds all that " said ashley, talking to himself

 

Sitting on his bunk, Jade massaged his temples with his hand. His gear was packed and seated next to him. His armor was off and awkwardly packed into a civilian duffel bag; according to mission parameters, if they were to sneak onto the planet, arriving in full armor would at the very least raise eyebrows. His brown eyes flicked over the chrono on the wall, and he levered himself to his feet. "We should get going," he announced. "Stow our gear on ship and prepare for launch."

He grabbed both his pack and the duffel concealing his armor, slinging the former over his shoulder. "Our freighter is in Landing Bay K," he told his brothers.

 

The End put his gun on his shoulder and said, "Let's move out."

Kyram looked at his brothers. "Alright. As you all know, this is a city mission. That means we should try to keep the explosions to a minimum. Sorry, Trig."
As the team reached the landing bay, Kyram turned once more and said, "I want all of us to work together as a team. The five of us now are Gamma Squad. We fight as one, and leave no man behind. No exceptions. Now let's get this fugitive some justice. Oya!"

 

" roger this time we leave no one behind right? " said ashley

 

"We never leave a vod behind. Mhi parji sa solus!" We strike as one! Jade thumped a fist against his chest and led the way to the Landing Bay.

"What a piece of junk!" he couldn't keep a disbelieving air from entering his voice as he regarded the freighter that would be transporting them to Bothawui's surface. Jade shook his head and headed up the landing ramp; tiny flecks of rust sprinkled down from the ceiling as every footstep rang against the grated floor. Clearly visible beneath the grating were the very guts of the ship, laid bare for anyone to see. "What osik-heap did they dig this out of?"

 

" god this stinks i can smell this though my armor " said ashley, snorting at the smell

Kyram, as well, was in disbelief. "The admiral expects this thing to fly? It's a good thing we came early...Jade, do you think we can get this off the ground and into the city unnoticed? Everyone else, scan the ship and make sure it's still...intact."
He walked down one of the ship's cramped, rusted corridors, scanning the metal and making sure it was stable. Suddenly, a movement caught his eye. "Fierfek!"
Several gartos flew at Kyram. He struck them down with his gauntlet knife, which had been safely tucked away under his sleeve. "Damn bats. But they're better than bugs."

 

OOC: It's fierfek. And I am moving Aeon Sora on the ship with us right about... now.

"You'd better not be wearing armor, Ashley," Jade pointed out. "We've got to be surrepticious, remember? Civvie clothes." He watched Leader kill a few bats, then grinned. "Way better than bugs," he agreed. "Still, a ship like this might have mynocks hidden in the power couplings or something." He dropped both his gear and the duffel concealing his armor to the floor. He caught a slight movement out of his peripheral vision and spun to see Kenshin, standing there like a shadow. A startled curse threatened to burst free from his lips, but he would no more swear at a Jedi than he would tell the Surpreme Chancellor to blow himself out an airlock. The Jedi was silent as a wraith.

"Command didn't assign us a pilot," Jade announced, ducking his head and entering the cockpit. "Even the troopers probably wouldn't fly this scrap heap. Who wants to pretend to be a pilot?"

 

"Sounds like fun. Let's hope the controls are there."
The control panel was coated with a fine layer of dust. Kyram turned to the others. "Has this ever been flown?"

 

"Doubt it," Trig said, shaking his head, "from the look of this pile of junk, I think it came from the garbage pits of Nar Shaada."

He scratched his arm with frustration, "By the Force!" he cursed silently, "I prefer my armor, thanks."

As he looked at his team-mates, it suddenly just occured to him, "How are we going to explain that we all look alike?"

 

OOC: I'm gonna have to leave soon...sorry. I'll be back in a week or so from tomorrow. Also, I don't recall how they explained that in the books, how they could travel in the city and not be noticed that they all look alike...

"Well...I suppose we could act as quintuplets. But that does seem odd." Kyram paused. "However, we do have some differences. None of us talk in the same way or have the same voice. We act differently too."
Facing the cockpit again, Kyram said, "Now, any idea how we can get to our destination without burning up in the atmosphere?"

 

"I believe that you," Trig said smirking, "start the engine."

 

" yea you can say ive got no armor " said ashley , looking at his clothes " ive got a few tricks up my sleeve " said ashley

 

Jade's mouth was open in an 'o' as he pondered Trig's question. "I don't think the higher-ups thought of that," he stated with a groan. "I'm not sure what's more conspicuous; us in full armor, or us not in full armor. And we're on a planet of Bothans... they notice everything. I don't think we can afford to be seen together."

He leaned against the wall and put a hand to his head, feeling an impending headache. "This mission is becoming complex already, and we haven't even left the docking bay. Speaking of which..." Jade bumped Kyram out of the way with his hip and dropped into the pilot's seat, keying the comm unit. "This is freighter..." he paused for a second, trying to remember the name of this garbage scow of a ship, "Rhade's Folly, requesting clearance to launch."

"Copy that," Flight Control replied, and the bay doors opened ponderously, revealing the dark emptiness of space. The only thing that could be seen was a brilliant ball of blue and green, wreathed in clouds, looking to be only the size of Jade's thumbnail.

"Oya," he muttered to himself, activating the ship's repulsorlifts.

 

The mysterious Jedi stood behind them still, watcing them silent. He was still wearing his black hood. Noone could see his face.
