stand by me

anyone seen it? i seen it in my english class today...i almost cried at the ending...lol sorry if this one`s been done....

 

Stand by me is a freakin' awesome movie! I saw it for the first time in English too & i absolutely loved it!

I'm pretty sure i almost cried at the ending too.

 

lol it was at the part i found out chris died i was like no...not him...lol

LOVE LOVE LOVE :'DDDD It's tied first as my favourite movie ebur. It can make you laugh and cry. I love the part where Vern and Gordie are running away from the train. omg, their faces... XD And the part with the leeches! argh. But at least you get to see Chris without a shirt and with his jeans round his ankles... <_>

I love some of lines too:

"Oh, Gordie really screwed the pooch."

"I don't shut up, I grow up and when I look at you, I throw up."

"...and when you guys are done dragging your candy asses half way across the state and back, I'll be over at the other side, relaxing with my thoughts."
"Do you use your left hand and your right hand for that?"
"You wish."

"Now he said, "Chopper, sic em, boy!" but what I heard was "Chopper, sic balls!""


lol, my friend and I were absolutely obsessed with it for about a year, watching it non-stop, singing along with the 50s music and drooling over River Phoenix.

I love Keifer Sutherland in it as well as the bully. xD;

Oh and I cry every time. "Not if I see you first.." BAAAAAAAWWW ;_______; It's made even WORSE by the fact that River Phoenix is dead irl.

I feel that everyone can relate to this movie as well. I think it goes: ""Friends come in and out of your life like bus boys in a restaurant [...] I never had any friends like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?" ))))): I only talk to a couple of the friends I had when I was twelve. One of them, my best friend, is the one I mentioned earlier, the one I watched this film religiously with. I think one of the reason why we've stayed friends is because we're determined that the last line of the movie won't ring true to us.

I ****ing LOVE this film! It's awesome!

I KNOW I definitely cried ._____. but wow it is one of the.best.films.ever!

I can't beat what Mish says, so I'm not even going to try :P

An AMAZING film!
