Ah if only KH3 would come out this year! That would be a miracle. I think that, realistically, we're actually looking at a release date somewhere in 2015, probably around the middle of the year, or ever later. I guess it depends on how much they want to put into the final installment and from everyone's high expectations, it'll be a lot. But I'd prefer that they spend more time on the development of a fantastic game rather than less time on a mediocre finale, so I'm okay with it coming out a little later.

The fact that people would think KH3 is coming out soon is a little baffling.
We know how long it takes them to release games.
And we also know that Nomura himself said he thought the game was announced too early.
So how on earth would they have it released any time this year?

It seems like the author of The Game Inquirer article really isn't familiar with the series, so I imagine he isn't totally aware of its development status. Still I agree, 2014 is a laughable number. I agree with Olaf that 2016 is more reasonable.

And expecting to FF XV AND KH III at same year? And 2014? Have dreams is good, but it's far away the reality.

Also agreeing with at least 2016. Assuming Square is still gunning for releasing XV before KH3, we could maybe expect XV around Q3 of next year (2015), and KH3 likely around the same time of year in 2016. It's hard to really tell at this point with XV still being a factor in the production speed, but I think it's a safe bet that withn at least a year after XV is done, KH3 will be arriving shortly.

I really hope that Kingdom Hearts 3 will come out on March 28, 2015 for the 13th anniversary of the Kingdom Hearts series. I doubt it's going to happen but, here's hoping XD

Well, in most cases, anyway. You remember how Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly turned out because the Universal Interactive Studios idiots rushed the developers because Universal Interactive Studios wanted it released by Christmas rather than flawlessly sometime after Christmas.

And that has nothing to do with this because 1) this is about Square who infamously drags their feet with games (à la ffvxiii ffxv) and 2) this is addressing the fact that kh3 coming out this year is absurd.
Yeah, I get what you're saying, but Square has a track record of taking their sweet time with developing a game, which for better or worse, is something we can no doubt expect from this game as well

Nomura once said, that his goal is to release one Kingdom Hearts game each year.
So we got KH 1.5 HD Remix in 2013
KH 2.5 HD Remix in 2014
and well this would mean we'll get KH 3 in 2015.

I'm also fine when it comes out only in 2016, because I want a good developed game rather than a game coming out fast, but I still believe we'll get KH 3 in 2015.

Well, Honestly we should have all expected that KH3 won't be OUT anytime soon. In honesty Nomura has said himself they only released those pieces of footage last year due to the fans to shut them up. basically giving us all a bone to chew on for now to calm down.

But also KH3's production will all depend on Final Fantasy XV's sales along with ARR's sales and monthly subscription they've said in a worst case scenario they might not be able to release it until 2017-18 I prepared myself for this though after seeing the KH3 announcement and gameplay footage last year, but FFXV needs to be focused on. they've been continuing this damn project since 2006 it's time to release this already.
