So long as it's organized and visible, I'm ok with anything.

I really dont know if I like this or not but you could talk about sports in the spam zone or in the genral chat area.

I don't see a problem with it, but I don't think it should actually be made unless we're sure there's enough sports fans.

It seems like an okay Idea. But the real thing you have to look at is if its going to be good for the forum and its future. And by juding this thread, and other threads, there arent enough sports threads to make a whole forum.

    Dude... just WTF?
That was totally rude... you think just because he's a guy he should be obsessed over sports? Maybe he's got better things to do. Like reading.

Well, why not give it a test in the 'Anything Else' section, making a sub-forum and if it's a hot thing, it will keep itself alive and if not, it can always be taken out later? That way people can also be able to talk about various sports of interest because team sports play at different times in the year so, I do think it merits a sub-forum to keep it organized and not just lost in the shuffle of the other stuff.

Reading can be boring. And the only thing I read is sports stats (Well not the only thing.) And I like this Sports Discussion Forum.... I might even spend time on it.

Dude, if you haven't realized the part with the "xD' on it. It obviously means I'm kidding around with the dude.

I never said obsessed. Better things to do...like reading? I lol'd at that.

I agree with Repliku, sub forum is good.

Darky kinda has a point. If we keep adding sections for everything then this will just become a general forum instead of a KH one lol. But I guess if there's enough sports fans, one will be made eventually.

That would be a contradiction. :3

I personally don't care for sports. You'd have to have a clear majority of the members interested in it before it was implemented.

I think if there was a majority interested then there could be a sub-forum in 'Anything Else' but not a sub-forum devoted to it.

But hey..how 'bout dem Packers? *shot*

    Sports

I say we need a sports section under the interests category. I mean I know I'm not the only one who enjoys playing or watching sports in this forum.

    Sports thread take 3

Ok, before you start and say this has been shot down a number of times hear me out:

To me it seems that the reason there have been a number of suggestion threads about adding Sports as a sub forum tells me that there are alot of members here who enjoy watching sports and have a desire to see a section where they can go to discuss it.

I could see this being either in the Fun and Games section or Anything else because it doesn't have much to do with KH.

I'm a huge sports nut and i think that a large number of members would agree with me that this could be a good idea, as long as it isn't inundated with spam or flaming.

I can't say for certain whether your points have been addressed before or not, but...

    1) After a long while, it'll get VERY crowded if it's just a thread. Eventually that'll lead to...
    2) Spam, Flame Wars, and a lot of other stuff that we DON'T want. It's easy to say that we should NOT do it but...
    3) It's pretty natural at this point for something like that to happen and...
    4) The Staff will have quite a hard time handling this. Not sure whether they want to take this job or not. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure this idea would've successed quite a while ago.

I'm sorry if I sound really pesimistic, (sp) but I'm stating my utmost opinion and this is how I picture things would turn out if it was to happen...
