    It's so fucking hard.

The first thing I did. Had no idea what I was doing, just played with smudge setting. Don't critique this one silly! I'm just showing whatever I shitted out without a clue o.o

Followed a tut. Kind of getting used to it. It's a bit harder than GIMP imo, but the results are fantastic.

So, I'm a total noob at PSCS2. Please help me guys!

the 1st one is ok with me but the second one seems empty, add something on the right? and either remove the text or change it because it's not doing wonders for me :/

Text should be on smooth (text settings). And always try and make typo colorful in a colorful sig (as an effect, even). B&W sometimes is a bit outlandish.

Very good though. Light could use some work though. It's a bit contrasty.

Well, at least I'm not alone on that respect. I find it hard, too. To be honest, you're pretty decent if you're making this so fast. You can only go up from here...so, yeah, let's keep trying.

Thanks guys, any criticism is read and taken into consideration.
I guess I'll just continuously post my work on this topic then, expect an update soon.

Oh it's awesome you're moving to Photoshop, it's a huge learning curve but once you get used to it you'll never go back.

I can't really comment on your tags since I think everyone already brought up stuff, but I can direct you to helpful tuts/gfx sites, and I can always help you if you'd like. <3

@Misty: It definitely is, the color dodge thing is insaneee! xD , and those tuts will help definitely. I have this problem with negative space.

Trying to get used to the layers, pentooling (Shown with that red thingy all over him) , coloring and what not.

Is there a way to connect two computers? So I can perhaps see how one of you guys make your signatures...? Like some Teamviewer thingy o.o

Anyways, uhm yeah that is all. Be as harsh as you want please c:

You don't suck as much as me. Infact, compared to me you'd win by miles.

    First Post:
#1. I like the fuzzy effects. Maybe throughout the whole thing next time? Add more colour to it as well.
#2. I'd just change the font of the writing and drag it to the bottom right-hand corner.

    Second Post:
I really like this one. There's a maybe too much of a yellow spot on his arm and the red one on his other arm.

You've done a great job Cx

These are better than what I can do at Photoshop. I think that maybe the text isn't placed all that great. I like the smudging effects in the first one, and in the third one I enjoy how you tried to blend the stock, and yet it seems like it needs more blending, and more effects.

Overall, you're doing great for starting at Photoshop.

Damn, that second one is gorgey. The pentooling is awesome. And you always have such nice stocks. :<

For tuts and resources, I love gfxbb. They have okay CnC there, but you're likely to go unnoticed because there's a lot of people posting at once. Take a look at some of the members stuff there too, it's really inspiring. For CnC and basic graphics discussions, I prefer creativepixels because it's still growing, so there's not a lot of members and it's easier to connect with people. They give nice cnc there too, but their stuff isn't as good as the stuff over at gfxbb.

And as for the computer connect thing, there is something I've been wanting to try out that I found in CS4. Next time I'm on MSN I'll IM you about it.

Oh, well thank you Misty, I'll be sure to check it out. thanks<3
And yeah, I look very hard for nice stocks <:

The current one in my signature was just a work of coloring and layers. I like it though, looks very...modern and mature (:
I made this a few minutes ago, worked a bit more on c4ds, coloring, and what not.

    I have the PSD if anyone's willing to correct my mistakes :}

I love the one in your sig, very simple and nice. I love the color, too. The horse guy in the background reminds me of Golden the Pony Boy. ;D I really like the left side of the other one, but the yellow on the right doesn't really match, I think it should be blue. The C4D is nice and all but I'm not in love with the placement.

    Still, nice.

ALSO I tried filming a video tut a few days ago but the program frooze when I finished. D:

That green C4D render doesn't really blend or fit in with the image. Looks out of place and obscures the person. The brownish orange stuff on the right looks ugly too. Try blending more.

    Thanks misty <3.
    And thanks hayabusa, I understand.

I feel as if this may be a bit better. It is a bit bright, but I was trying to go for a real happy, light feeling c:

Text once again, I had no idea how to work. Seriously, text ugh -_-

    Please critique, PSD is available.

Those are pretty good. Take it from a non-veteran.
I've got my hands on PS a couple times....so my advice isn't as technical as everybody elses.

Anyways, I just recommend broadening colours(Making them darker) on separate parts of a character. Also, be abstract.
    Example:
Make the guy in your sig's hair red etc.

That's all I gotta say. Other than those non-advanced suggestions, your creations are pretty good.

I like how it kinda looks like a foggy glass. It has a good light source and I think the stock colors are complimented greatly by the line of light(which I think is a C4D) I don't really like the white splatters all that much, and the text feels a bit too plain, in my opinion.

As a side note: This one looks almost exactly like the other one, style-wise.

Oh I love the new one, it's so cute. I'm not feeling the blue circle/light/thing though, it feels real random. Maybe make it the more blue-green of the left side of the tag. The stock placement is bugging me too, but it's not terrible. The text is... well, bad. o: I don't like the purple hues in it, but I think if you made it closer to the light and a similar color so that it's coming out of the light it might look nice.

PSD please. :3 Can't promise I'll do much to it but it's worse a look.

Yeah, styles are a bit similar (: Thank you guys, your critique will be looked on.

And Misty, I'll have it later today, I'm not using my laptop, which has all my actual work in :]

    Thanks again guys <3.
