Neko smiled when she managed to do some damage. A wound like that would surely make his movement on the ground less versatile. An easier target now could be made out of him. However, he was about to live to his name and drive his claws into her neck. She didn't have the reaction time with this one and gave a loud roar at the incision. Two could play at that game though. While he decided to suck her, she would wrap her tail around his leg then drive her claws into his torso.

Damnation growled at Ethel as she tugged on him to stop. He rose his hand and forcefully lunged at Ethel, throwing her onto the ground. "No spriox or human commands Damnation!" He yelled back at her now aggravated even further.

His eyes glared at the woman trying to seduce him now. Humans were all the same. They all thought some sort of deal can be made to outweigh casualty. "You are truly the bottom of your race. This is why the human species deserves the gift of extinction. You're simply hideous." After that, he appeared right behind her. "You are not going to survive, trash."

Ah the sounds of futile pleas. Despair really was a delicious thing. If only he wasn't as hungry as he was now, then he'd take extreme pleasure in giving the girl hope and only to painfully take it away from her. "Plea all you want, your only delaying the inevitable."

"I see." Chrona said as Xero explained about the giant mutant. Considering that he had friends in various places and how some of those friends provided useful information for him, you'd think at least one of them would have heard about this. Heck they told him about the bat like mutant children story. Soon Reno said that they should get some sleep and everyone went ahead and found a room to sleep in, leaving Chrona all alone. Time to do what I do best. With that he quietly made his way out of the house.

Now this probably wasn't the best idea for him to do, not cause of the potential risk, but cause his power affected his brain and lack of sleep plus over using them could and probably would severely screw him over. Though it wasn't like he was planning on staying out all night, just long enough to do some thinking is all and what better place than the roof of a abandoned building. Entering though the window, he made his way up to the roof and dug into his shirt, taking out a pendent. Since it was related to his parents, he had no idea what was special about. All he knew that it has always been with him. As he held it up to the sky and looked through it, he noticed what appeared to be a black smudge, but when he investigated it, he found nothing.

It was then that he heard the sounds of wings flapping. Looking up, he didn't see the bird that he was expecting. Instead it was a bat like mutant carrying what seemed to be a rainbow haired girl. Put two and two together and this can't be good. Now assuming that this is the same bat-like mutants that the stories are about, then the rainbow haired girl is most likely its next meal, which also meant if he intervened he was basically putting himself on the menu as well. If there was ever a time to believe that his confidence in his powers would keep him from getting killed, it would be now. Chrona waited til the mutant was about to fly above him before activating his trap. Clock Down! Time slowed down for the mutant as it entered the radius of his effect. Now he had 10 second to free the girl. So he took out one of his two guns and fired two shoots at its wing. The bullets pierced the wings right as the time limit was out.

Skorge was not expecting anything to come between him and his meal, so needless to say when the bullets shot through his wing there was a shriek of pain as he released the girl onto the building below. Too bad for whoever had shot him, he was still able to stay in the air and was now scanning the nearby rooftops for the one responsible for stealing his meal. He would make sure that they knew true terror and pain before finishing them off.

Ayako screamed as she fell below. Her lips moved with soundless prayer, until she realized she had landed safely on a building. She breathed heavily. What had happened? Would he come back for her? She was too exhausted to move. She was just happy to be alive.

Ethel fell to the ground, eyes wide from shock. She only sat there feeling her body tremble and not wanting to move. She slowly stood up and began running back to the markets with tears in her eyes. Ethel opened the door to a room and quickly slammed it closed behind her. She leaned against the door and slid down to the ground and began to cry.

What was she even doing here? She didn't know what she really expected. The gravity in the room began to increase, things beginning to crack and break the more she cried. Ethel looked up sobbing, looking around to see that pretty much everything in the room had been crushed and destroyed. She looked at her trembling hands as tears blurred her vision. She didn't like having this power, in fact she actually feared it.

Ethel feared her own powers because of what was happening around her. Every day they got a little stronger and the more emotional she got, the less she could control them. She could kill people by accident just because of the intensified gravity around her. Ethel hugged herself as she sat there sobbing and hating herself.

Valinton raised a brow after this man told him to follow. But he followed anyway, a bit hesitant from the text he just got. He hoped Doku was alright.

    - COLOSSIAN -
The giant mutant began to smell the area around him as he sensed something nearby. His camouflage was active and he began walking toward the sent he smelled, leaving loud thumps as he walked. Once he was close enough, he saw a lonely human not to far from him. He growled rather loudly and quickly began walking faster toward the human. He was now visible to the naked eye, dissipating into his true form. He let out a roar as he threw his head at the human, locking his jaws around him and swallowing him whole.

Dead grew tired of this whole interaction. Not only did Valinton ignore her request of money or sweets, but he even left her without saying another word. Scoffing, she decided to wander around the human district for awhile. Taking upon the appearance of death itself, she walked around and examined her surroundings. Of course, she eventually came upon Damnation and the girls around him. Dead knew of Damnation but had never met him in person. Then again, what mutant DIDN'T know of this man? He had a way with dealing things and most of the time they ended in somebody dying. For instance, the auction earlier. It ended in disaster and that made Dead chuckle. Watching them interact, she saw one of the women he pushed down run off and away. Deciding that she wanted to follow this girl, she followed Ethel back to the market, although a bit behind to not be noticed. Stopping at the entrance of the market, she watched as Ethel ran into a room and shut the door. Suddenly, Dead could hear crying and crumbling from below. The ground shuddered as the crying eventually calmed down a little. Dead was very curious now and knew that the girl had to be the cause of this. Going against her better judgement, she decided to head down and find the room Ethel was in.

This didn't take long, seeing as the wall was cracked and broken in a few places around the door that lead to the room. Jiggling the lock a little, she found it to not be locked. Opening the door carefully, Dead looked down to see the girl was sitting on the ground and sobbing to herself. "Aw, what's wrong little girl?" she asked her, kneeling down behind her. She poked at Ethel's shoulder, smirking. "Did your boyfriend break up with you?" she teased her. Dead wasn't so sure if this girl would hate her or react positively, but she knew that something was wrong and she was greatly interested at this point.

Doku watched as the two began to fight each other. Zylen had removed his mask and sank his teeth into Neko. Neko replied with doing the same and soon they were tumbling around on the ground in a tussle. Not wanting to see Neko get hurt, and knowing her family would kill her if that happened, she reached inside of her belt and pulled out a small bag. It contained small containers of poisons and other things. She examined each vial and found one that would have a paralyzing effect once administered. She only kept it for emergencies and it seemed like now was just the kind of emergency she needed. Sticking the needled into the bottle, she pulled out enough of the potion to fill the syringe up. This next part was crucial and she knew she had to be careful. Stepping out of her hiding place, she slowly walked up behind the two. Zylen was on top and was struggling to stay on top, but he was on top nonetheless. Getting closer, she got to the side that he wasn't able to see enough and stabbed him in the neck with the syringe. She quickly pushed the stopper down, pumping the whole thing into him, and stepping away quickly. She almost fell backwards, but was able to catch herself on a garbage can. She now had to wait and see what would happen.

Zylen couldn't say he was surprised by Neko's counter attack. Monkey see, monkey do... or cat in this instance. Pretty much copying what he did to try to use it against him. He wouldn't let that work though. He just had to stall for a moment longer while he finished formulating his next plan of action. That turned out to be a devastating mistake for him. The other girl, Doku had sneaked up behind him sticking him the a needle. He whipped his head around to look at her, baring his fangs, but before he could do anything he felt his muscles relax. His entire body began to relax and become hard to move. Soon he couldn't move at all. His talons relaxed releasing Neko from his grip. At this point he was defeated. They had a clear opportunity to kill him when he couldn't do anything, and admittedly he was scared. Sure he didn't have much to live for, but he didn't want to die either. "Please..." He did his best to say with the drug at full effect. It was all he could bring himself to say at this time.

The one girl ran off crying leaving simply Zage and Damnation. She was sick of standing their listening to him insult her race. She lifted her sword one more prepared to fight when Damnation seemly disappeared. Or so she thought until she heard his voice behind her. She spun around on her heels to face him. She took a could steps back bringing her sword to her side. Zages eyes went from soft calm nature, to an angry determined one. She leaped forward bringing her sword in an upward diagonal slash at Damnation. "I didn't want to get blood on my hands, but you are asking for it!" She said, her voice filled with hate and rage.

After furiously scanning the area for his prey and whoever caused him to lose it, he found the two sitting on a building roof below him. Now it was feeding time. With another loud shriek, he dove down towards them.

For a little bit it seemed as if things would go better than he'd expected as Chrona watched the girl land on the roof. She didn't seem to be hurt, not from the fall or from her encounter with the bat mutant. He was about to call this a stroke of luck before he heard the piercing shriek above them. Even though he expected something to happen, he was kind of hoping that he was wrong.

It wasn't going to take a genius to figure out what would happen to them if they didn't get off this roof before it got to them, but since the girl didn't seem like she would be able to move in the slightest, it was again up to Chrona to play the hero. This better not end up biting him back later, figuratively and literally. First thing he did was run over to her and grab her had. "Try not to freak out over this." He said, before jumping off the ledge of the building.

Normally an act like this would be seen as suicide, but fortunately Chrona had a plan. Clock up! This time with a much smaller radius, he managed to bounce himself and the girl he was dragging off the wall behind them and onto the other one. Where he used the friction of his shoes and one free hand to slow down the descent. Once they were on the ground, he looked up to see if the mutant was still behind him. While he saw nothing, it was still too early to relax. So he motioned at the girl to hide while he did the same, hoping that it didn't have any special features to spot them with.

Belinda paced at her own pace. She wasn't really "in her own skin" at the moment. She was in her preferred state as the beautiful human daughter of beloved Animator and Movie Mogul Walt Dixon. Normally, she was still his daughter, but did not look quite like she did then. Her long blond hair extended past her fair shoulders, her blue eyes glistening even in the late night air. She was thin and relatively tall, with the sort of figure most would expect of a celebrity of her breeding. She was dressed to conceal, however, as she roamed the back lots of her father's studios. A larger than life, ferocious T-Rex with glowing yellow eyes and green skin loomed above her head as she sat on the set of the movie slated to begin shooting the next day; a movie she was to star in. Not as the Romantic interest, nor as the quirky comic relief. She was playing the lead. Belinda Dixon was finally getting her chance to really pull the weight of a motion picture film, and the weight was impressing itself upon her. Mostly because she knew she had more in common with the animatronic monstrosity lifelessly locked in mid-roar above her than what she appeared to be.

Belinda sighed and cast off her disguise. Her soft white skin grew green scales all over her body, and her blond hair receded into her skull as a lizard's tail grew from her back. When she opened her eyes, they were as red as blood instead of the frosty blue they'd been before. That was her "gift". She could become anyone and change her outward appearance to pull the wool over anyone's eyes. She was literally a character chameleon. Actors both noted and unknown would kill to have that ability, she knew, but if they knew the costs... Belinda had to go about knowing, deep down...she always looked like a scaly monster. Occasionally, she even had no choice. She could not always maintain a disguise for long; the stranger the look, the longer it would hold. Normally, she stayed "herself" as long as she could, but this time, the transition to her mutant form was on purpose. In the jungle atmosphere created in Lot 64 almost felt homey for a lizard... or whatever she really was. She opened her mouth to sigh again. Where perfectly even, flat white teeth had been were perfectly even, sharp, slightly yellowish teeth. In and out, "Slithe" knew she had to be a freak, and no matter who her father was and how much money she had on her own. No matter how adored she was by fans, she knew it was more for a faked beauty than an existing talent.

That was rather surprising. Neko didn't expect Doku to pull out a syringe and stick it in the bat. As he fell to the ground and cringed from the poison, Neko wanted to strike him down now. If they could rid themselves of a primary threat this early in the game, things could be much easier. Her eyes glowed down at him as she rose her paw up and slammed down.

"I won't be that kind of mutant that kills like all the rest." She said as her paw was beside his head, sparing him. "I'll spare you, but whether the poison does or not is up to Aunt Doku." She began to walk off. She sat in the corner and began to lick her wound as she waited for Doku to make her decision to heal him or not. Either way, he was immobilized.

He watched Ethel leave, crying, a smile came across his face. "That's right! Run! Fear me you witch!" He yelled back at her. A coward threw and threw. At this point, he didn't care. He was ready to take down the entire city himself. The methods he had acquired over the years made him powerful and intimidating to everyone.

The sword missed him as he once again moved behind her. Having a body like his made him incredibly light. All the cells in his body were that of a dream almost, simple and light. His claws rested upon her open back. "Human flesh, so delicate and smooth. How can a species have such a weak defense." Now he was enjoying himself. Lead the girl into a hopeless endeavor. No matter her struggle, no human had the potential to match him, or any mutant for that matter. Their extinction was unfolding.

Ethel flinched as she heard a voice beside her and lifted her head to see who it was. It was a mutant but not anyone familiar to her. She sat there confused for a moment, "boyfriend"? What was she talking about?

"...No." Ethel simply said as she scooted away some, not feeling comfortable around someone she didn't know. The gravitational field around Ethel was still pretty heavy, she wasn't sure how this girl was able to withstand the weight of the gravity in the room. Maybe because it wasn't as heavy as she thought it was; either way, if this girl did anything funny she could crush her in an instant.

Soon, Ethel noticed the girl had horns and claws. She gulped a bit as a thought popped into her head, "A-Are you... Valinton's sister, perhaps?" She asked sheepishly.

Dead flinched when Ethel scooted away. It was true, this room felt a little heavier than the others, but it didn't bother Dead as much as it should have. And then she had the gall to say that Valinton was her brother? This girl certainly was not trying to get on her good side. This only made her a bit angrier. She kept her cool, however, and simply patted the girl's head. "No, no, dear. I'm not that guy's sibling. I just met him tonight anyway, says he was gonna find somebody that caused a ruckus down here." she smiled at Ethel. Her claw dug into Ethel's skull. She was searching for the one thing Ethel was most afraid of. Soon enough, there were images of Damnation entering Dead's mind and that piqued her interest. "Oh? You're afraid of this guy?" she said, chuckling. "He's such fresh meat though. This won't do..." Dead sighed. Concentrating, she did her best to make her appear as Damnation to Ethel. The look was spot on, Dead thought, and she cackled in the voice that matched Damnation's even. "Why are you so afraid...of this man?" she said to Ethel. "He has weaknesses and I'm sure you'd be able to simply crush him if you wanted to do so."

Doku watched as Zylen fell down. Neko got out from under him and nearly pressed her paw into his head. Huffing and heaving, Doku slowly walked to Zylen. Kneeling down and sitting on her knees, she flipped Zylen onto his back. His words, begging them to not kill him, still rang in her ears. In the end, he was just a mutant doing whatever he could to not get Damnation mad. That saddened Doku, knowing that Damnation was able to do such things, even though he was probably the biggest coward. Reaching her hands around his neck, she watched as Zylen flinched. Probably thinking she was going to strangle him. Instead, she grabbed his mask and covered his face back up. "All I want is for you to act as if this never happened. If Damnation asks, tell him he never asked you to come after us. Tell him that he is delusional and never gave the order to kill. If you cannot do that, then at least act like it worked." she said, looking over him and dabbing at his scratches with a cloth. Carefully standing up, she heaved and walked over to Neko. "And Zylen...you do not owe me a thing for doing this. Just take what we gave you and leave." she said, climbing aboard Neko again once she was done cleaning herself. Doku was very tired and in incredible pain. She just wanted to get back home. "When we get home, Serena, let us take a bath together at the bathhouse, hm? I am sure you need it." she said, chuckling.

Zylens eyes widened as the paw came down towards his face. He didn't blame the cat for wanting to kill him but he had hoped that his plea would go through to her. But the paw never made contact with his face. Instead it landed beside. The girl said she didn't want to kill like the rest, he had to admire that. For him it wasn't much of an option. It was all he knew how to do. If he didn't kill then he wouldn't be of use to Damnation and be put back into a place of not having a purpose or anything to do with his life. No guidance and he would be all alone once again. He didn't think he could stand returning to that life.

Next the girl who had administered the drug approached him, flipping him over. He was a little more confident that she wouldn't kill him. If she was going to, why take the time and waste the potion to paralyze him. That was his thought pattern until she reached for his neck. He looked away from Doku, mentally preparing himself for what he assumed came next. But instead of great pressure on his neck she gently lifted his mask up to cover his face once again. She too had spared him, but why? She then instructed him to act as though nothing had happened. To tell Damnation he was delusional. Did she really think that Damnation was stupid enough to believe that?

As the girls left and he waited for the drug to wear off Zylen was left to consider his three options. First, he did as she said and try to convince Damnation that he was delusional. Although Zylen had never been good at lying, he didn't think he could possibly convince Damnation of that. Second, he could tell Damnation that everything went well. But if he found out Zylen was lying he could be in great trouble, more then just saying he failed. Finally he could simply head back to the underground, go to his room and stay there until Damnation called for him next. If Damnation asked he would tell him they got away and accept the consequences. Though he wanted to respect the girls wishes since she had saved her, he knew the best action for him was the last once. That was he decided.

When Zylen was finally able to move once again he started heading back. He kept to the shadows on the way back and did his best to remain out of sight until in his room. He would rather not get questioned about what happened just yet. The young man held great respect for Damnation but along with that great fear. He would do whatever possible to avoid the Mutant unless getting instructions for his next job. Even then he rarely came out from the shadows and showed his face.

Zage couldn't believe she had missed. Damnations cold hand against her back made her shiver. Zage spun around once more swinging aimlessly at Damnation. She did have more skill then what she was currently showing but through a mix of being over tired and scared she wasn't in the right mind set to use it properly. She wanted to either make a deal or for him to leave. She didn't want to be toyed with. She just wanted to get out of there, back to her warm safe bed. She had dealt with enough creeps today.

Neko had finished. Once Doku sat on top of her, she shifted into a Cheetah once more in order to optimize speed. "You know, I haven't been home since I took the drug... The family probably won't let me back in." She admitted to Doku. She was now an alley cat, trying to make mince meat from whatever she could. There was also the others she ran into earlier in the day. They'd need to rendezvous back in the morning eventually.

Try all she wanted, nothing was going to get to him. "Are you afraid girl!" He said once she tried to swipe at him. Now he was nowhere to be found. The shadows echoed his dark and merciless laugh. "Your fear, it's almost perfect." His movements aloud him to get around behind her once more, his hand placed onto her head. Her fears became clear once he entered her dreams and desires.

"You fear emptiness most of all. Let's give you the gift of emptiness!" Damnation had the ability to make dreams a reality. Whether it was a fake body to resemble a loved one for him to kill, or other things such as loneliness or love, he could make it real temporarily. His hand gave a slight vibration as he imputed Zage's mind to lose three senses: sight, sound, and touch. "Bask in loneliness for the next day!" There was a weakness to this ability, if the target could sleep for at least an hour, they'd be cured, but the fear he drove into his victims made this a difficult task. Most went insane and tried to force themselves to lose consciousness. He could make it so they wouldn't have the ability to speak for such a request, but he simply enjoyed listening to their screams of terror and their plea for salvation.

Damnation had disappeared once more. Thus time he didn't simply appear behind her, no instead he stayed out of sight and laughed. Zage looked around trying to fins where it was coming from, but she saw nothing. A shiver went up her spine once more as Damnation stood behind her once more. This time before she could do anything he had put his hand on the back of her head. He began to talk of her deepest fear that lay deep within her subconscious. One she herself didn't always realize she had. As he was talking suddenly everything went black, then silent. "wh-what's going on?" She stuttered. Zage reached forward to grab onto something to steady her as she tried to walk away and though her hand stopped moving she didn't feel anything there. Zage took a couple steps back before falling to the ground landing on her butt. "Help. What's going on, I can't see!" Zage called out but all she heard back was an echo of her own thoughts. She was trapped alone inside her own mind. Zage couldn't control herself as she started to tremble on the ground. "Someone, answer me. Please." once again the only response she got was an echo of her own mind.

Ayako screamed again as she thought she was falling but then they started to bounce. She felt like she was going to throw up. She hid along with her rescuer. "I don't know whether to say what the hell or thank you for saving my life." She hissed. "Either way that was some cool trick you did. Good on you too, I really didn't feel like being something's lunch." She whispered.

Skorge's eyes had followed his prey as they jumped off the building and landed down below, but that was where he lost them as well. Despite being a predator who could survive on land or in air, he had no special tracking abilities for situations like these. He'd lost his prey and he was furious. With one last ear shattering scream, the beast flew away from the building in search of its next meal.

Chrona had waiting a few moment after the shrieked had died down before answering the girl. "Either ones fine and from the sound of it, we're both screwed if it see us." While he did managed to save the girl, now he had a deadly predator after him. This was turning into quite the night for him. Still with the coast now being clear, he got up from his hiding spot and looked up. Nothing, not even a single sound. "Anyway, I'm Chrona."

Ayako almost smiled. "I'm Ayako." She said, standing up along with him. "Anyway, seriously thank you for saving my life, I suppose." Ayako smirked. "Sorry to be so blunt, but, now what? Not sure exactly where I am, and I don't want that thing to be stalking me all the way home. Whatever home is..." She asked, crossing her arms.

"I have a idea on where you could stay for the night." Chrona offered. It'd probably be better and a whole lot safer if they stuck together, especially with bat mutant still out there and wanting them for a meal. As oppose to standing in the alley any longer, Chrona walked out and waited for Ayako on the other side.

Ethel flinched as the girl dug her claw into her head and pulled away from her. Her eyes went wide as she saw the girl transform into Damnation and quickly shuffled backward, hitting her back against a wall. The gravity in the room began to quickly get heavier and heavier around her from her emotional stress. Ethel shut her eyes tightly not wanting to see Damnation again as her breathing increased from panic.

"Why are you so afraid...of this man?" the girl asked. The gravity in the room still slowly increased as tears began falling from Ethel's eyes. "He has weaknesses and I'm sure you'd be able to simply crush him if you wanted to do so."

"J-Just... Leave!" As Ethel spoke she quickly stood up and held her hand out toward "Damnation" and unleashed a very powerful concussion blast that sent the girl flying unless she did something to prevent it.

The room grew heavier and heavier as the girl scooted far away from Dead. Instead of following her, she knew she had to act fast or this room would suddenly collapse on her. Running to hide behind some rubble, she emerged with her scythe in her hand. She looked like Damnation no longer and slowly walked towards Ethel. "Look, I know you're afraid of this guy, but that doesn't mean you should try and kill me because of him." she smirked at her. "Perhaps we could talk for a little while?" she suggested. Indeed, this girl made her quite curious. "Ah, where ARE my manners!" she giggled. "My name is Dead, what is yours?" she said towards Ethel, bowing to her. The skull from her Scythe grew back to it's large size and floated around Dead. "I'm a mutant that's seen many things and know of many others. I can do many things as well, but I don't want to get into that boring drivel. You interest me." she said, pointing at Ethel. "So, I want to get to know you." she said. "And calm down, it's not like he's gonna find you any time soon...if he did, I'd hack and slash at him!" she giggled, making fake slashes and hacking at the air with her scythe. "Count on it."

"They'll let you in as long as I'm with you." she smiled at Neko. "Besides, I'm sure you need someplace to sleep that's better than some alleyway anyway, right?" she said, petting Neko's back slowly, scratching her ears. It was true, Neko was almost never allowed back at the family home, but if Doku wanted her there, then she'd not be questioned. Even their Lord would have to allow it. No matter what. "Just...don't tell him about this tonight, okay?" she said, referencing their Lord. "He doesn't need to know about this. Zylen didn't kill us and I doubt he will in the future. I'll get the shadow men to watch over the houses just to be sure." she nodded.

They approached the family land and stopped. Doku stepped down and opened the front gate with her password. The guardsman at the gate spoke with her and soon enough, a shadowman appeared and bowed to her. Turning to Neko, she motioned for her to come inside. "It's okay, Serena, I'll take care of you." she smiled at her. At this time, Doku was almost home and she could taste the sweet fragrance of the bath gel that would be running all over her body when they got inside. It was something that had to be experienced to be believed.
