Spirits in The Dark

Lawrence scanned the woman up and down, noticing her weapons before she spoke to him. "Not really", he answered to her question as he turned around, flopped forward, stood up and turned to face the woman. He wasn't sure if she was dangerous or not but his weapon was in three parts under the back of his jacket. In an instant he could draw, connect the parts and protect himself if needed. Although, he didn't actually feel a threat from her.

 

Anya ran forward, no really knowing where she was going until she came to a dead end, though there was a window, without glass. She sighed and looked out, it seemed to look over a courtyard. Her improved eyesight meant she could see two people on the ground below. Her brow creased as she watched them, there was something different about them but what it was wasn't obvious at first glance.

 

Sensing that something wrong was about to happen, Carrie hesitated as she looked arouund through the hole in the wardrobe at the surroundings around her... And all appeared to be normal... that was, until she heard a low growl not too far away from her. The cat-like image beside her started to hiss angrily as she felt something tremble on the floor.

''It begins then.... Doesn't it?'' she thought to herself nervously as she attempted to find a way to escape before whatever the hell that thing was kills her.
