Best movie review EVER.

Yea, I was really dissapointed in this movie, especially the what was it, 20 ****ing minutes of venom! That's crap.....real crap......I watched that movie for two reasons: Black suit spidey & Venom kicking his little emo wannabe ***.

All other of my feelings for this film are discribed in the very well done in DeathSpank's review above.

 

I take it you have brothers. I have no siblings D: So I wish for that too x3 We really are similar, its crazy:p
Anyhow- youve gotta see it. I think this is one of those PotC type movies that are just so much better in the theater. Believe me, I havent been to a movie in forever [because its so ridiculously $$$] I usually rent em on DVD as well...Glad youre gonna go see it, I hope you enjoy it as well :D

I agree with you. The ending made me ;____; too. And yeah, most people I know prefer the EMO!Peter Parker looks-wise. I dont xD But hey, I like Tobey Maguire just like he is.

 

Hey!!! Someone Here Told Me That There Was A Secret Video At The End Of The Credits!!! That's Total Bull Crap!!!

 

I went to out as soon as the credits started so I don't know if there was a secret video or not.

 

What there could of been a secret video. Oh man I left at the credits crap!

Spiderman is not y thing. It got crappy after the orginal...O_o​

 

There is no secret movie at the end of spiderman 3.......I stayed and there was nothing......so that answers that.

I don't really think they're gonna make a Spider-Man 4, if they do they'll probably end up killing Spider-Man, a stupid cliche used in comic books to end a really long line of comic books that was supposed to be cancelled, that's what I think anyways, and I think they should have carnage in 4 if they do end up making a Spider-Man 4

 

Using Carnage in a 4th movie would be a huge mistake because it would be recycling a villan and that's stuid, desperate, and boring..........if there's ever going to be a 4th film the villan will most likely be Dr. Conners aka The Lizard.....he's been in every spiderman movie and it's just building up for him......well that's what I think anyway =D

How is adding Carnage recycleing a villan I think it would be a good movie.

 

You know what. I think people in the UK enjoyed the film more than those in the US. I bet most of you walked into the cinema with a straight face expecting an all dark and evil film. Then came the emo spidey and it was funny and you were all like 'What the Hell.' When I saw it in the cinema pretty much everyone was laughing at him. With all the girls looking at him in disbelieve. XD

Welcome to America, the land of the people with extremely biased, negative&critical reviews of nearly every good movie. People need to just learn to enjoy movies and take them for what they ARE, not what that individual wanted them to be. [Becuase lets face it, everyone has oppinons, especially when it comes to movies based off of a series of comics, books etc]

I think alotta people that went to SM3 were expecting crap, so in their minds it WAS crap...I tried to go into it with an open mind. I wasnt one of those OMGWTFBBQ ITS SPIDERMANNNN kinda fans; I just thought I should go see it with friends. So its not like I was prospiderman before seeing it. I hadnt even seen ANY previews for it[shows I never go to movies eh?] So I mean, I consider myself pretty unbiased.

IDK I really think people are being a bit harsh with some of the complaints they have...Like the sandman getting too much screentime. That really bugs me when people say that. Raimi wanted to personify that villan; to make him more human. That is NOT easily accomplished and they did it! He ended up being a tough, and yet loveable character. Kinda like what they did with Doc Oc in the second movie. I dunno, maybe its just me, but adding personality to a character thats generally thought of as 'lame' in the comics is an interesting perspective. Its like theyre trying to emphasize, "HEY-this person was really cool but in the comic just kinda glazed over them...Lets try to take this somewhere and make the villan come to life." They suceeded, so I mean whats so FAIL about it?

Oh and the issue about the romance.
See heres how I see it: Okaaay, so Peter Parker was maybe a bit emotional [that did not ruin it htough]
Ifyou took out the MJ&Peter love/hate scenes, there would be no plot. These are the things that keep Peter a 'human' superhero; his ties to society. Theyre trying to make the point[and follow the comics] that Parker has to find that essential balance between being Peter Parker and Spiderman or his life will fall apart. Again, what is so fail about demonstrating that? I mean people say OH THERES NO PLOT, but there was. Severely underdeveloped yes, but it was there. And if it had been any more apparent, then we'd have people saying that it didnt have enough action. So its kinda a delicate balance, you know? And I think they did a pretty good job.


As far as the 'emo' scenes:
Ill admit it. I hated it while it was happening. I thought, "great, they just COMPLETELY killed the movie.:( " However, right after the scene was over, I realizedit was actually done quite artfully, and I ended up loving it. See your first instinct is to scrunch up your nose and look away in disgust, but thats the whole point. Theyre showing how the Emo!PeterParker's personality is the dead opposite of his normal self. It was never meant to be serious,in fact it was just a parody if you will; a satire. It was a stylized charicature, merely ment to demonstrate his new distorted personality. Quite ingenious if you actually think about it.


I DO see where people are pissed about Venom though; I think an extra 1/2 hr couldve been added to characterize Venom more. He was kinda there&gone. Didnt ruin the movie for me, just did really add anything. So nothing was gained or lost.

Carnage and Venom have basically the same exact personality and traits and abilities except one is red and the other black.......same exact thing. No difference. Nothing new.

Now unless they made a non-canon Toxin movie with Venom and Carnage that would be totally different. I may like to see that.

I guess a Venom and Carnage movie wouldn't be too bad. They'd be anti-heroes and Spidey can play a cameo or two.
