It was a good move for them to make fire a circular attack; they had both fire and blizzard as projectile attacks in KH1, which was pretty repetitive. They should have had at least one more spell though, especially since magnet is pretty much crap. It's somewhat useful, but the enemies spin around in a circle so it's hard to hit them XD Plus, it consumes a lot of MP.

I think they should have kept Stop in the second game; or at least had an Earth move.

I miss Aero... but Reflect is just the best spell ever! I hate what they did to Fire and Blizzard tho, and Cure. I preferred when you could heal without losing all your mp. Magnet is pretty useless too.

Magnet helps on Critical Mode when you don't have Reflega. It also helps during the Second Xemnas battle when you have to destroy the engines on his ship in a certain amount of time, and those little clock nobodies are flying around.

Cure sucks. I hate it now.

I take offense at that tactic. I use it all the time and I find it a really easy way because nobody's are weak and it's a good way to upgrade Final Form, if you have it. Final Form=Super Glide= Fastness! So I like the world that never was for it's level upgrading abilities.

Another thing, Aero, I noticed, you never even really get and upgrade for until you get the yellow trinity ability or release all 99 dalmations, I'll admit I like it, since it's helped out alot in the Expert mode I'm trying to beat now. I found out there's a new image at the end screen if you beat it in Expert mode so, up until now, I never tryed it. Reflect on the other hand, is a good spell I think even though it only blocks one attack. But that's better than: OMG! Did I remember to cast Aero again? I can't see Sora, OMG! I think I'm doomed! gah! Where's 2 MP??
    Right?

Plus Reflect is much better because you can use it outside of the game like in fanfics like I did. Aero isn't going to help any if your in an exploding room and you have to save others besides yourself.

magnet=sucked...idc how good it was for fighting in the pride lands, it took a hella lot of mp and two couldnt be in the same spot for 2 seconds...and each one lasted for 3 seconds...
reflect= really smart idea, especially for the forms in which u cant use guard...i use it a lot when there are tons of enemies attacking. and its a good way of taking tifa and yuffie out at the same time. if u think about it, the only living thing in kh series (correct me if im wrong) are the sorceror nobodies that are immune to reflect, so it can hurt just about anyone...yes, even terra...

aero: i played kh1 when i was in 3rd grade so i never understood the reason why it was special
my third grade mind: aero: i still die no matter what...and it doesnt hurt anyone...plus aeroga is almost impossible to get...why am i using this?

stop: stop was amazing especially stopga...sure bosses were affected by it, but i mean...imagine sora's kh2 trinity limit with stop on and then doing a couple of long combos...stop= the ultimate cheat spell...if ur about to die, cast stop and BOOM u get a second chance...

gravity: again, i didnt get this spell especially because the heartless i hated the most which were shadows, were suddenly "passing on" the same abilities to their other heartless pals...u couldnt even hit them when they were flat....that was annoying...

i voted (just the same) although i miss stop...*sniffle*

Same thing happened to me. I eventually had to turn off defensive spells which sucks because I like areo and cure but at least he wasn't holding me back. (Took me a long time to realize the game callified it as defensive since I never used it as such)

I like spread attacks like blizzard was more than straight forward. They usually do less dammage unless your intheir face but my aim somehow sucks even with lock-ons. And since I'm very logic oriented I hate that blizzard can now go through things.

Gravity I used a lot because I hated large enemies. I would just flatten them dealing a lot of damage, run behind them and finish them off when they spring back up.

Areo was nice but I like that reflect is more strategic and effective if used properly.

I preferred KH1 where you needed to spam cure to stay alive, to KH2 where you can barely use cure if you wanted to (and I'm aware that it gets hard again on critical, I don't own FM+ so I don't have an opinion there)

I have to adimt the new circle is a good effect for fire. No complaints there at all.

Magnet is good for endgame farming but I didn't see a good purpose in plot fights,
