Kingdom Hearts II Speculation: Something I noticed with the new scenes

OK - this has been beaten to death on these forums since before the game came out, anyways...

When the preview video was release showing the new footage, the introduction of Roxas name very clearly had english words spoken, however in the actual footage that was added in the game, it was lacking the spoke words (ie silence).

Why would they record new english dialogue and not use it?

 

True! I hope this means they're bringing it to the U.S.! :D

 

Those weren't new recordings. They simply added old lines over the cutscenes for the PV.

Didn't Xemnas' line seem a little awkward to you when he said "The New You"? It seemed like a melded recording to try to make it work, but it didn't.

 

Yeah at first I thought I wasn't Xemnas. But yeah they just recycled old lines to make it sound like that in the PV.

 

Yah, that is stupid. And in the ads it said that there would be new english voiced scenes.
