Linkin Park actualyl does have some good songs, but my point is not whther or not they're liked. Is if it fits or not. I used a song that was too emo for KH, though I interpreted the lyrics to fit, I agreed that the song itself did not fit KH. Part of the AMV is it fitting. this song did not fit so it should not be in the top 5 videos if there were actually good videos that fit.

Vegas, huh? That's a program I hadn't heard of. o.o I use Adobe Premiere myself (along with some programs to convert the .wmvs from the site into .avis so they load properly/play back properly and all that) simply because it allows more precision that WMM ever could, and I can clip out the subtitles. Maybe I'll check out Vegas and see if I like it better or not.

But as someone else (I think) was trying to get at, everyone's interpretation of what "fits" for an AMV is going to be vastly different. I don't think you have a right to say "that song doesn't fit" because, er, well, the lyrics match up well enough and the creator's got it following the beat well. Just because you think it 'makes your ears bleed' is personal opinion. I think you're the only one that's posted here so far that's complained. ^^;

On the other end of the spectrum, I'm just tired of Linkin Park AMVs simply because there are so many of them these days. Looking on animemusicvideos.org feels like a waste of time anymore because all the songs are either Linkin Park, Evanescence, that 'My Heart Will Go On' song or 'Gravity of Love' and it gets dull. I'd prefer to see more original choices in music.

That being said, I DO like the two LP videos that won this week. Good job, guys~

even if linkin park IS used a lot it's just that so many ppl like thier songs they want to make their own versions of it. in fact, i do, i just need to buy some linkin park cd's or something because i still don't own any *T.T makes me sad but i'll get them eventually lol*
yeah, i love making amv's and i love watching them, it's a great source of entertainment-both ways. lol. i especially enjoy japanese songs ^_^ they are so awesome, like Hitomi Shimatani especially since she's my favorite jpop singer. ^_^

I already got what you ment, but your looking way too deep into it. Riku never acted Paranoid, neither did Roxas, saying that it matches the game is idiocy. Music can be interpretated in many different ways, however music where the theme is defined by the lyrics and the artists comments makes it uninterpretable by others and they must go with what is given. Saying a song about paranoia, and only paranoia, fits with KH is stupidity.

I used to study music alot and most modern music isn't intrepretable at all, you just have the lyrics which define the song, such as the words of a book define the book. Now if this was music witohut lyrics and just a beat, this would be debatable.

I wonder where you goit the crazy idea of the AMV meaning Riku and Roxas was paranoid. The song numb fits Roxas well so don't say Linkin Park doesn't fit KH. I understand what you mean though, some of their songs don't fit KH but some do. Like if you put Papercut with Kairi then I would be right behind ya. Like some people say that LP doesn't fit KH because its Emo music, I couldn't help but laugh. Their music is not related to the topic emo at all, people usually say that just because its a rock band.

i disagree with shadowjak, Linkin park has great rythm in their songs and hard hitting beats that make it easy tp sync a video to; and great lyrics. i say keep em coming. (although some variety would be nice)

i thought it was great to add the khIII trailer in the 2nd place vid.

That's one thing that annoys alot of people. :/ People make tributes to some of the main characters with some of the best songs even if the songs don't even fit with them, which really drives some 'creative' AMV makers up a wall; being as there are very few AMV makers that are willing to risk the chance of embarrassment or flames by making a tribute to a character with less screen-time than others even if the song fits with the character more than the main character.

But I must say, Linkin Park/KH AMVs are getting tiresome, and I can see why it annoys some people.
