interesting, an RPG about a crude comedy show. not sure what to expect from this but maybe a few lols along the way of the game.

Can't believe it, but I'm actually liking the idea of a South Park RPG. I hope they don't screw it up. Hope it's funny.

I can't see how this could possibly work. South Park is best the way it is now; badly animated 2D. I like South Park, but I think this is going to suck, unfortunately.

If Obsidian's behind it, I expect to be a horribly buggy mess with some great ideas.

Could be worse, it could be Bethesda.

Yeah, I'd argue that Obsidian is worse.

The animated series is made with Maya (a 3D CG software).
They could do something like Paper Mario, or just a plain 2D game. I doubt they' ll bother, but they could.

If it's anything like Costume Quest, then I'm all for it.

Sounds like a flop. A terrible tv show being made into a video game by a bad developer. At least some suckers will buy it.

Well, the way I see it, this could go either way.

Making an RPG with the liscence of a Comedy Central show is risky. They've made the Simpsons work in a video game, but South park might be pushing it a bit too far.

As much as I liked the Nintendo 64 game, I dont think a RPG game would fit South Park. A 2D version could work but South Park in 3D looks ok but not that great because they are animated out of paper stills if I remember correctly.

Whoa, a Final Fantasy Materia-like system? Nice. I look forward to more details about customization. I shall enjoy customising my character. =3

So it'll be a dialogue driven game with crappy RPG elements in it. Good god, why not just make a episode about this? So much easier than taking years for a mediocre video game.

Agreed. Big fan of the show, and as cool as this would seem, I'm worried it could flop.
Matt Stone and Trey Parker seem to be involved in the project, so I\m hoping to expect plenty of laughs along the way

Something oddly tells me that one of the battles in that game will have "Let's Fighting Love" as it's music. It's just a feeling though and I could be wrong on that
