Melody clearly didn't want anyone else to know who she was, she didn't really want to trust anyone, " don't tell the others, not like they even know me."

 

"I don't tell anyone's thoughts or memories Melody. Don't worry," she said then winked at her.

 

"uh . . .right. . " Melody said feeling akward around Natalie, "Umm are you hitting on me?" She wondered.

 

Natalie's eyes got wide.
"No," she said laughing along with her answer, she wondered.
"The wink was just a sign that I wouldn't say anything," she said,

 

"haha" She laughed along. "well since you know that I am a princess, don't call me princess."

 

"Whatever you say Princess," she said smiling in a joking matter

 

"can we get out of this. . .force field?" She asked?

 

"This isn't a force field. Its a protective salt," she said. She handed her a small sack of it.
"Use this to protect yourself if you get out of the clearing," She said

 

"Kay, thanks" She took the sack and put in in her pocket. She was getting a bit bored so she took out her staff.

 

Natalie searched through Melody's mind and saw the staff.
"Hmm. Interesting Staff. Who gave it to you?" she asked. That was something she couldn't see in her mind

 

"Trying to read my thoughs I see, as long as I am wielding this staff no one can harm me by their minds," She said " My brother gave me this, he didn't want it anymore and gave it to me instead," She started to have a little smile.

 

She nodded. She saw before that her brother and parents were dead, but she didn't want to say anything....
"Your brother seemed very nice, by what I could tell from your memories," she said

 

"Hmm, yeah. .. I miss him though," She said. "My parents died by those so called vampires and my brother was killed right before my eyes, I know he's dead but for some reason I feel that he is still alive. . somewhere"

 

She nodded.
"I'm sorry to hear that," she said.

Shane came from out of no where and made a portal into the clearing.
"Natalie..its been a while," he said. He looked over at Melody. He smiled sinisterly.
"And young Melody," he said sinisterly

 

Melody held up her staff. . . "Shane. . . .you, you killed my parents, my whole entire planet and my brother. . what have you done to him?" She asked.

 

He chuckled sinisterly.
"Ahh..so many questions, such little answers.. You shouldn't be worried about them.. you should be more worried on whether you will join him," he said.

Natalie slowly pulled her hand to a sack of her salts, ready to throw and bust at him

 

"what did you do to my brother?" She asked. . . "Answer me!" She made her staff change into a a sword and held it high near his neck.

 

He knocked it awak, and used his knee and hit her in her stomach. He grabbed her hair and pulled her down to the ground, and held his face towards her neck.
"You are irresistible., You got away from me once, but now, I got you," he said just a few inches away from biting her neck.


Natalie pulled her sand pack off and threw it at Shane, making it bust all over his body.
"Melody RUN!" she shouted as she ran towards Shane with her Blades in her hands

 

Melody flipped backwards and kicked him as she went backwards. "I can't leave you here"

 

"Grrr," he said, flashing his sharp teeth.

Natalie thrust towards him almost stabbing him, but he moved away.
