Yay! Dreams really do come true

 

Time to make a legitamte thread before this gets the **** spammed out of it.
I am really skepitcal that this game will be anywhere near a grade A game. First off, it's a game based on a really crappy rapper. Two, what the hell would you do? Would it be a rythm game using Mr. Boy's songs, or would it be some sort of gangster, 3rd person shooter like GTA, only in the ghetto? And I keep thinking of the Pimp my Ride game while writing. So, I think it'll end up like that.

 

*sigh*

First 50 Cent 2, now this. People think that if they get mentioned by gamers once they are big enough to get a game based after them. If it's 'Get on da Mic' style game then that's not so bad, but an action/adventure. No.

 

What the freak Tony Hawk can have is own games but not Soulja Boy (even if he is awesome)

 

Tony Hawk = sports games. It makes sense. However, I do not see what sort of genre, aside from the rythm game genre, could work. We've already had one such incident occur with the 50 Cent games, and it may be the same for Soulja Boy. However, Soulja Boy is also a one-hit artist. That's all he has up his sleeve, and unless he makes any actual good music, it's doubtful that this will change anytime soon.

Not really. He had one song that was a great success, but he also comes out with a bunch of other songs too. So, he's not a one-hit wonder. His second album is coming out next week, as a matter of fact.

Also, I doubt this video game will even happen. He hasn't said anything about him having his own video game. Plus he's been talking about having a T.V. show and a cartoon; those haven't come out yet.

And for all of you who say he sucks and crap, just realize something: No one liked lil Wayne when his first album dropped, no one liked Tupac when his first album came out, but over time, they improved and I already see Soulja Boy growing as an artist and, hopefully, he'll turn out just like the other great rappers have. And, also, you can't really judge an artist on one album. You got to at least see them grow and see how they develop into a better artist and it's entertaining to me to see an artist grow and that's probably why I defend and like Soulja Boy's music.

Also, it's not like you guys are gonna HAVE to buy it. So, why are you moaning like someone's forcing you to get it?

 

Don't you compare that fake ass rapper to Tupac. He can't rap, and like everything he says in his 'raps' are a load of...

Okay I'm back to normal again. I will not spam you to death for liking Lil Wayne, because that's just your opinion, and I believe that if Soulja Boy puts a little more good lines in it, and stops with all the repeating of the same lines in his songs he can be pretty good. But please, don't compare Lil Wayne or Souljah Boy with Tupac, he is a WHOLE different kind of rapper, or that's what I believe. I more think of him as an artist.

I believe we have now found a challenger for E.T. and Aquaman as the worst game.

 

Currently he is a one hit wonder. If he makes another successful single then yes he won't be. Many one-hit wonders have other work, it's just not many people have heard them. The mainstream doesn't know anything else by Soulja.

Get on da mic was a good game because it had good songs. Soulja Boy=/=Good songs. I doubt someone wants to spend a game saying "YOUUUUUA" for 20 minutes at a time

Soulja Boy is nothing like Wayne and Tupac. Tupac talked about life and things that happen and had good rhymes. Wayne has an artistic insanity and comes up with unexpected and crazy rhymes. Soulja Boy uses simple rhymes and comes up with catch frases. He follows what everyone else is doing in the industry and makes dance songs. He is in no way similar to Tupac, Wayne, B.I.G., Nas, Kanye, or anyone on that level. Sure people didn't like Wayne and Tupac much at first but they weren't credited with ****ing up hip-hop either.

Anyway, action adventure or singing, this game will suck because 1. Singing only Soulja Boy songs is not fun and 2. Soulja Boy couldn't have lived a life awsome enough to make a good video game story.

 

I heard about this today, but didn't believe it. XD

 

Can we stop talking about Soulja Boy's shitty music and continue bashing his shitty game?

Anyway, the only people who will buy it are the same people who bought 50 Cent's game.

Lies! I bought 50 Cent's first game for 5 dollars from my friend. His was half decent xD
