@MandyXRiku4ever: Well, i wasn't a big fan of him in the beginning and he is still a bit annoying but after episodes 8 & 9 or 9 & 10, not sure which two were you just can't hate the guy.

Also there is a scene in episode 4 or five i think with him and Soul which is hilarious.

Soul Eater is one of the craziest animes I had ever seen. Monica Rial (voice of Tsubaki) actually came to my town for an anime convention and showed the first two episodes. After that, I just had to read more. I just fell in love with it because of the story and the comedy.

I even own the first volume manga. Yes it is perverted (WARNING: TSUBAKI NAKED) but that's not all that it is about. It made me laugh harder than I usually do at anything. Just be careful of when and where you read it.

Tsubaki naked...? If it is the same scene that it's in the anime, then i wouldn't say that we can talk about nudity. Now Blair on the other hand...

I'm up to Episode 38 dubbed, I just love it.

I know Lord Death dies at the end, so does that mean Kid is taking his spot? That'll be awkward for Spirit, Yumi, etc. And does that mean Liz and Patty remain as regular weapons? Or are they death scythes?

As for favorite character, too damn hard. Upon the debut of Kim and Jacqueline, as you can see by my avatar, they've become favorites of mine in this series.. Jacqueline is pretty much a ****ing flamethrower in weapon form. That beats Soul's scythe form or Liz and Patty's fun form any day.

Speaking of Patty, she's just plain hysterical. I should have tried turning my English Final into a giraffe. The teacher was going to fail me no matter how well I did anyway

The only characters I come close to disliking are Crona, Blackstar, and Eruka.

..I actually kind of like Excalibur. I think I might be the only person in the universe to not hate him. (speaking of him, JUST WHAT THE HELL IS HE? He has feet kind of like a cat's back paws, but...umm..uh..what.)

This is one of the best animes I've seen in a long time. It's the first one to get my heart pounding in my chest (not even FMA did that for me). This show made me laugh, cry, and punch the computer screen. lol =) The cast and crew did a wonderful job getting this show just right (both in Japanese and English).

I definately think Patty is one of the best (well, funniest characters) in the show. She's able to turn the audience's mind away from the scary and towards the funny (though it may not last long). My favorite moment of hers is when she scares the crap out of Kid. xD

I don't know how anyone can dislike Crona by the end of the show. At first, I really didn't like him; but once you learn about him (and all Medusa made him endure), he really becomes a pityful character. I wouldn't say that he's one of my favorites, but I certainly don't hate him anymore. He just needs a hug. ^^

BlackStar is just a plain freak. xD We love him and hate him. He also reminds me of Naruto (at age 12). The only thing that I didn't like about him was how he always said he wanted "to surpass god." I understand what he meant by that (I don't care about the god thing, I don't claim a religion), but I think he could have said it differently. It just devalued his character for me.

About Death at the end of the show:
Death doesn't die at the end of the show. He's perfectly fine. I thought that Kid would take over too, but turns out he didn't. I think that would have been a stretch for an ending.
As far as Excalibur goes, I think he's some sort of cat-human-duck thing. It's hard to tell. I usually just refor to him as humanoid.

I really enjoyed the anime but I thought the ending was a little dumb with the whole lololcouragepunchderp.

But I really do love the manga, which is still going. Imo, I really hope they remake the anime to follow the manga like they did with FMA: Brotherhood, but I don't think that'll happen anytime soon....or ever. But if you like the anime then I can guarantee that you'll love the manga even more.
Plus, you get to see Soul become a super awesome death scythe in the manga

My favorite character would either have to be Death the Kid or Stein. I just love them both to bits and pieces.

Hmm....I'm confused about Crona's gender now. In the manga, at first he was referred to as a guy, then they just continued to refer to her as a girl. (Also, most names ending in an "a" are typically girl names.) I haven't seen the anime, but I have read the manga, and....maybe the anime's better, but I didn't find the manga all that great. I've read better.

I'm pretty positive that Crona is a girl because both the manga and the anime they referred to Crona as a girl.
Also, I think that Medusa also referred to Crona as her daughter, but I'm not entirely sure on that.

In the anime, Crona is a boy.

I'm so confused about Crona! Dx I'm just going to stick with the anime version and call it a boy.

Okay, we all agree that Crona's gender is a never-ending question.

What I want to know is about the realtionship between Stein and Spirit. I think they've been buddies for a long time. They have to be close to be able to match wave lengths, right? So how to you all think they met and became miester and weapon?

Crona gender is unknown, but it's most likely girl, the anime makes you believe it so. Check Soul Eater's wikia. I watched all of it thus far subbed. Couldn't stand the English voices. My favorite character would be Excalibur, he is truly the most funny to me. But I like Black Star's fighting style the most, especially with his last weapon. Which I will not reveal for spoilers sake.

Spirit said Stein was a genius and that if he had any interest in a weapon he would be able to master it to some degree. Also I think it was said that they have been working together for 5 years (or at least that's how long Stein has been experimenting on Spirit)

Where did this "Chrona is a boy" thing came from? Seriously? She is Medusa's daughter hello! Judging form the previous comments i assume that it's a mistake made in the dubbed version. I watch it dubbed and you can tell she is a girl. Even Medusa said it. It's not like Haku from Naruto... (now that was weird...)

Anyway, i'm currently on episode 25, so i have quite a lot episodes to watch but i think i read somewhere that there's a new season coming.

I'm surprised we haven't talked about this yet: Episode 6. Y'all know what I'm talking about. So do you all think that Soul and Black Star's moment was just for fun or were the writer's giving doing something serious in a comical way? I think it's the latter. By those two [idiotic] boys attempting to be partners, we (the audience) learned some more about how partners get along and fight together. Very clever.

@Garxena: You talking about that scene during which Soul and Black Star run towards each other? I think it was just a comic scene and a nice way to show how close friends they are.
