Soul Eater- A Witch's Academy is on the Rise?

"Come on," Kirby slung his arm under Merlie's and headed after Maka and Soul. He moved slowly, keeping Merlie at a bearable pace. His heart was still racing. He'd come close to losing her. It was something he'd never thought of. Maybe this was the wrong thing for them to be doing. Maybe it was too dangerous. He just wanted to stay with Merlie and keep her safe.

"Zoey and Koji," Merlie looked around desperately when she and Kirby reached the others. "Where are they? What happened?" She moved a lock of her layered bangs out of her face. She blinked, clearing her dissheveled vision. She was very thankful for Kirby's arm supporting her.

Colt listened to Sekira intently. Her offer sounded intriguing. He was about to ask for more details of what she meant by "gang" but he was pressed backwards by Angel. She wasn't as intimidating as Sekira, but she did have a weapon in hand. Colt drew his knife, ready to fight if he needed to. He didn't mind things getting dirty. His boys were dropping around him likes flies. They didn't matter anymore. Looking past Angel to Sekira, he spoke, "Why don't you get her to back off and tell me some more about this 'gang' and 'power' you mentioned?"

 

Stein looked over at Maka and scratched the back of his head "from what I saw they were trying to flee from this mechanical robot. I proceeded to fight this thing so they could get away." Stein said as he kneeled down and picked up the clown's claw "Don't worry. They were still in one piece when I found them. They should be fine but wounded. Lets hurry up and find them" Stein said as he dropped the claw and looked over at the group and then used soul perception. "they are moving...good. Lets hurry up and find them" Stein said as he walked towards the direction he sensed Koji and Zoey

 

At this point Angel was back to normal. Her vision wasn't blurry around everything else save for her targets, and she could see everything. All the carnage and the blood that was on her sword as well as on herself. Her breathing promptly quickened as she was now "sane" as she continued to blink rapidly to clear the fog that was in her head. Of course, it wasn't like she didn't know what she was doing. She knew exactly what she was doing the entire time, but she was blocking her rationale as well as her empathy for others. Angel wasn't happy about this at all but she decided to focus on the fact that Colt had drawn out a knife to distract from everything else. She was further dissatisfied when it felt like Colt wasn't afraid of her at all and was instead nervous of Sekira. She demanded power and those to fear her. But at this point, she was starting to get a little nauseous and she relaxed as she backed away from him to give him some breathing room. Angel gave him one last threat as she backed up to where she was standing beside Sekira. "If you dare try anything, I won't forgive you."

 

Maka nodded her head and then started to head after Stein. But then she stopped and looked over her shoulder to where Kirby and Merlie were standing. "Black☆Star, stay with them, okay? They're just new students!" The miester then turned and followed in the Funhouse after Stien.

"Heh, baby-sitting is usually not my thing," Black☆Star muttered as he folded his arms tightly over his chest. He then looked at Merlie, watching her carefully. He guessed what had happened, he didn't need to see it. "You know, that was pretty stupid using your soul wavelength like that. But you already knew that, huh?" Black☆Star looked ahead, keeping a straight face. He usually wasn't the one talking about other people's stupid mistakes since he made his own all the time, but he felt like he needed to say something. He went through the same thing almost, but nobody stopped him. "If you think you can exceed your limit, keep practicing until you drop dead."

Zoey was making her way to the noise she heard, being sure that it was the children. It sounded like crying, maybe it was them. Who knew? She sure didn't. But she had the feeling to go look and see. She pushed onward in the maze, walking on and on. Again, she felt the air shift. This time it came from above her. Zoey froze and clutched Koji tighter to steady her nerves. Something else was in the the funhouse besides her and Koji... and it wasn't anyone from the DWMA. "Koji..." Zoey whispered, trying to get him to say something.

"I don't see anything..." Koji said as the eyes on the staff moved around. But he knew something was there. Something dark and sinister... something familiar.

Suddenly, a shadow descended from above, landing right behind Zoey. It was a man with white hair and hunched shoulders. He slowly looked up at Zoey and smiled. "So good to see you again after all these years... Zoey..."

Zoey froze in place as the voice rang through her mind and shook her memories. Her mind traveled back in time, several years ago when she was just a little girl, corned in an allyway by this man. Her eyes were even starting to ache from the memory of what happened that fateful day. Zoey turned around to the voice, holding Koji in her hand. Koji was silent, but he was glaring at the guy in front of them.

The man chuckled as he looked at Zoey, his handy work served him well. "How are your eyes, dear Zoey? Do they hurt? I am truly sorry... I should've ended your suffering years ago. That's what they do to dogs, hm? Stray dogs who wander into the pound with no eyesight usually are counted as suffering and... are put to sleep in an eternal dream. Doesn't that sound nice...? You won't have to feel any more pain..."

Zoey felt sick just hearing this guy. Her hands were trembling in fear, but she stood firm. Even being at the DWMA for a very short time, she knew that she would have to face her old enemy sooner or later. "You're sick. I lived through the scars you gave me that day. I CAN STILL LIVE THROUGH THEM NOW!"

"Is that so? After I'm finished, we'll just see about that!" Spit flew from the man's mouth and sailed towards Zoey. The saliva fizzed and crackled as it made contact in the open air.

"Dodge roll left!" Zoey moved out of the way, only to feel the man move again. She heard him spit towards her again, and she quickly spun to avoid the attacks. Her heart was pounding in her chest as she thought, 'This is the fight for my life.'

"We're part of the Dark Soul's Academy... we're there to train for power and to prove to the world that they can't hide forever from people like us... People who can make their own rules and change this land of desolation in a paradise. It's almost how a regular gang works, only we're a bit more organized..."

 

Stein walked along side Maka but suddenly was surprised as he sensed something another soul? Stein thought to himself "Maka do you sense that?" Stein said but before he could let her speak he ran forward a soul like that...they are in danger I'm sure of it Stein thought to himself, sensing the urgency of the situation

 

"There's someone else here? Are they near Koji and Zoey?" Soul asked Maka. The clowns weren't the ones behind the missing kids, so maybe this new soul was. If they could track it down and get some answers, they could be done with this mission quicky.

Merlie laid her gaze on Black☆Star. "After that, I'm not doing it again. I was in a jam and it was all I could think of." She looked back to Kirby and the two sat on the ground. Merlie let go of Kirby's hand. "What about you? You weren't assigned to this mission with us." She was just trying to get her mind focused on something.

Kirby kept his eyes on Merlie. She still didn't look well. Her eyes had lost their glimmer and her voice was pretty much monotone. Her hand had felt cold and clammy in his. He knew she'd pushed herself way too far. That blast of her soul wavelength had made him feel queesy too. He realized then how connected they really were. Kirby wanted to check Merlie for a fever, but with Black☆Star and Tsubaki there, he didn't think she's appreciate it.

Colt thought for a moment about what Sekira had said. It sounded like paradise to him, like everything he stood for. A spark of interest and potential flashed in his eyes. "So what, are you the leader? 'Cause I don't think I'd take orders from you." He kept his knife out; if either of these unpredictable ladies or their little guyfriends tried anything, he'd at least put up a fight.

OOC: Yeah, Colt just got a color. =P Is that one taken already?
Oh! And I LOVE that Black☆Star post, Maka!

 

A shadow quickly landed on the roof of a nearby building close to Kid's group. "Ooh....how nice! What lovely young men we have here today! And oh what deliciously strong souls you all have. Wouldn't it be a shame to have such souls snatched away from you? Heeheehee...heheheheh...ahahahahahahaha!" the woman cackled. "Oh my. WHERE are my manners? I forgot to introduce myself. Heh heh. I am Nox. And the night is my realm." she said as she smiled a crazed smile at Kid and his group. She wore a black dress with a very low cut "v"- neck displaying her massive but proportional cleavage. Her wavy black hair fluttered in the wind. Her dress had huge slits almost up to her hip allowing her gun strap to be shown and many parts of her fleshy legs. Hmhmhmhmhm....I think the one in the suit will be my first victim. I do LOVE men in suits.

 

"Yeah," Maka huffed out as she kept running while using her Soul Perception. "They're in trouble... Someone with an evil soul is attacking them." Maka pushed herself to run a little faster. Who knew how strong this soul was and how long the two new students would last. 'I hope they're okay. I hope they're okay. They better be okay.'

Black☆Star put his hands behind his head and simply looked up at the night sky. "In a jam or not, you should really think of what you're going to do next. I'm surprised you're even standing right now... barely anyways. Only a star like me can handle something like that, because I practiced and trained for hours on end. You're new at this. You don't get it yet." Done with his little advice giving time, Black☆Star sighed out impatiently and placed his hands on his knees. "Come oooon guys! I don't want to stand here all night! Hurry up already!"

A feint whirl and click, barely audible compared to Black☆Star's yelling, came from behind the foursome group. It was moving a bit slowly then it did before, but it was back to finish the job.

"Soul leech!" Louis released small green things towards Zoey, but Zoey had no idea where to go. Even Koji couldn't see a way round this attack since they were backed in a corner.

Zoey figured something was coming at her and spun her staff in a fast motion to stop what ever was coming towards her. Instead of feeling the leeches bounce off of Koji, she felt Koji get heavier in her hands and she also felt three or four things attach to her as well.

"What the heck!" Koji exclaimed as he suddenly felt a weird sensation through his whole being. Koji felt pain within him and cried out in surprise as he felt the energy starting to drain out of him. The leeches had attached themselves to Koji and were sucking his soul's wavelength, making him starting to loose connection with Zoey.

Zoey felt the same pain as Koji felt and winced as she whimpered. Quickly acting, Zoey ran her fingers down the staff until her fingers touched one leech. She yanked it off, feeling a sudden painful spark run through her fingers. Koji screamed out again and Zoey cringed inwardly from the sound. "Hang in there Koji!" Zoey continued to run her fingers down the staff, quickly pulling the leeches off of him. She was starting to feel her energy draining more as she ignored the leeches on her and focused on Koji.

Louis decided he had his fun watching his victims suffer and advanced towards Zoey. He grabbed her by the throat and slammed her against the wall, forcing her to drop Koji on the ground.

Koji, feeling almost completely drained, turned back into human form and laid there weakly on the ground. He lifted his head up to try to find Zoey. He saw her through his fuzzy vision and grimaced. "Zoey..." He felt so weak and totally helpless. Here his partner was in trouble, and he couldn't do anything about it!

Louis licked his lips as Zoey struggled to get out of his grasp and then grinned. "The little leeches are nasty, aren't they my dear? They're draining your soul wavelength oh so slowly and giving your power to me..." Louis tightened his hold on Zoey's neck as she choked a little from lack of air. "I wonder... how are your eyes doing?" Louis raised a hand up to Zoey's blindfold and yanked it from her. Then he relaxed his hold on Zoey, seeing that she was on the verge of blacking out, but he didn't want that to happen just yet. He was beginning to have fun after all.

Zoey's mind was clouded with fear as she felt her body gradually relaxing. She couldn't knock out yet, not in front of this guy. Zoey felt the air hit her eyelids and winced a little. Could she open her eyes? No time to think about that... Suddenly mustering energy from within her, Zoey pushed against the wall and then kicked upward, hitting Louis squarely in the jaw.

Louis screamed out in pain and stumbled backwards, letting go of Zoey and letting her crumble to the ground. He clutched his jaw, almost cursing aloud. He was so going to end this girl's life now. But then he suddenly heard footsteps approaching them. He looked up towards that direction and growled in frustration. More intruders he didn't want to deal with just yet... He looked at Zoey one last time... "Be warned girl... next time I won't spare your life. Your soul will be an added value to my ever growing collection." Louis then spat on the ground next to Zoey and ran down one of the many corridors, disappearing into the shadow.

Zoey laid on the ground, listening to Louis spit sizzle on the ground next to her. Her world was starting to fade in and out, over and over again. She didn't even have enough energy to pick off the leeches that were still feeding off her her soul energy. Gradually, Zoey opened her eyes. The tunnel was pitch black, so she shouldn't be able to tell if she still had her eyes closed or not. But this wasn't true. She saw the black corridor as a very pale bright green color. It was like standing under a bright neon sign with other lights shining on her. Feeling suddenly sick, Zoey closed her eyes tightly and curled up in a ball on the floor.

Sekira flicked her wrist and lowered her arm. It looked like she wasn't going to get anything this round. Grendel almost masecured everyone anyways. "No. If I was the leader, there would be disaster. Perhaps you heard of... Medusa the witch?" Sekira looked straight at Colt, her eyes serious and dark. "She's our leader..."

"Yeah, I'm the one that gives out schedules," Sid said while looking at Yuki. "What's your name, kid?"

Patty, who wasn't easily surprised by things that were suppose to surprise people, stood behind Kid and blinked as she stared at Nox. "She's so creepy!" Patty said quietly to Kid. "Do you think she's the one that made the town people scared, Kid?"

 

Fae huffed out, starting towards the outside. She stopped, unsure. "Oh man, maybe I should talk to Lord Death... But, then again..." She headed back into the Auditorium, watching the students. She sighed, rubbing her pompoms.
'I'm nervous.' Mentally stating the obvious, what was Fae to do? 'I'll go spy on Lord Death! I think I saw windows in the Death Room!'

 

Stein continued to run ahead trying to catch up to Koji and Zoey "up ahead" Stein said as he ran up to Zoey and kneeled down next to her after noticing the leeches on her "Maka check up on Koji for me" Stein said as he looked over at the leaches those things are draining out her wavelength...It will harm her if I just pull it off. Maybe I should use my own wavelength and disrupt the absorption Stein thought to himself as he grabbed a leech and used his wavelength before pulling them out


"She must be" Kid replied to Patty and looked over at Nox "In the name of the DWMA we shall punish you for your misdeeds" Kids said as he opened his palms "Liz Patty weapon form" Kid said ready to begin his fight and finish the mission

Seth looked up at Nox "well she is pretty good looking, but we know not to fall for good looks" Seth said still looking at Nox and smirked "its been a while since we have actually been in a proper fight. Lets go...Drake" Seth said as the two brothers stood side by side ready to fight

 

Yuki shook his head, leaving his deep thinking state of mind. He looked up at Sid. "My name's Yuki. Yuki Sukigami." He said politely. "May I ask what your name is?" He wanted to be as polite and nice as possible, it was his first day at the DWMA after all. Yuki managed to take a quick glance around the room again. 'Simply beautiful...' He thought, but soon stopped. He didn't want to think too hard because he would get carried away and zone out whatever anyone was saying, which would give a bad impression on his part. Yuki looked back up to Sid.

 

Maka barely stumbled on the scene before her. First she saw Koji, then she saw Zoey. Her blind fold was off and Stien was already checking up on her. Maka scanned the area, seeing little green like worms writhing on the floor in between where Koji and Zoey laid. "Are those...?" Hearing what Professor Stien said, Maka looked over to Stien to see him pulling off the same green worms that were on the floor off of Zoey. Maka then jogged over to Koji, careful not to step on the leeches, and knelt down beside him while holding Soul upright so that he wouldn't touch the leeches that were scattered on the floor around them. "Are you okay?"

Koji groaned and forced his eyes to open. Everything was so dizzy and disoriented to him at the moment. He felt like he was made of lead, like he couldn't move at all since everything felt limb felt like it weighed a hundred pounds. He looked up to see a fuzzy someone kneeling over him, asking him if he was okay. "Couldn't be better..." Koji forced out his words, still trying to have an upbeat attitude but failing at it. Suddenly remembering about his partner, Koji instantly sat up. "Zoey!" Big mistake. Koji instantly felt like vomiting and clutched his stomach as his body forced him to relax and start to fall backwards to the floor again.

Maka quickly acted and caught Koji with her free arm before he hit the floor. Maka examined him, seeing red marks on his exposed skin where the leeches attached. There were so many of them, which Maka figured those leeches probably completely drained him of his energy. And since he was almost dead weight, Maka figured her theory was right. "Hang in there, Koji." The young miester then looked over to Professor Stien. "How's Zoey doing, Professor Stien?"

The leeches came off of Zoey easily without harming her, but Zoey was still out of it. She moaned and closed her eyes more tightly as she felt her stomach churn and twist. Her ears were ringing as well, giving her a headache on top of everything else. She couldn't tell who was helping her, but she figured it was an ally. "Koji..." Zoey said weakly, her voice cracking as she spoke. "Is he okay...?" Zoey curled up into a ball, clutching her stomach while wincing in pain. "I really screwed up..."

"Well, when I was alive, people called me Sid. So just call me Sid, Yuki." Sid dug through the paperwork and found Yuki's schedule and handed it over to him. "Here you go. And are you a miester or a demon weapon?"

Patty giggled and saluted playfully. "Okay~!" Patty then transformed into a small pink orb and then traveled in a silver light towards Kid's hand, turning into a gun when she met his hand. Patty giggled again and her face appeared on the side of the gun. "Yeah! We're going to fight the creepy lady!"

 

Stein smiled "Koji is fine" Stein said and placed her down onto the ground "you did fine" Stein said reassuring his student and walked over to Maka and Koji and kneeled down to check on Koji "Zoey is fine she just need a good long rest. Maka take Zoey out of here. I will check up on Koji here and bring him out" Stein said as he began to pull out any lingering leeches off of Koji and examined his wounds

Death the kid grabbed Patty and waited for Liz. There was no way he was going to fight with only one gun as it would go against his love of symmetry

 

Yuki smiled as Sid handed him is schedule. "Nice to meet you Sid!" He said cheerfully. Then he heard what Sid said. "Oh, I'm a meister...but I don't know who my Weapon is and I'm really anxious to meet him, or her." Yuki said, stilling looking up at Sid. He added, "And what do you mean by when you were alive?"

 

Tsubaki looked over to Merlie with a faint smile. "You shouldn't say you'd never do it again. Like Black Star said, he practiced for hours on end. Surely if you do the same you can master the skill. After all, it would become very useful and not many Miesters can do it." She said in hopes of lifting her spirit.

 

"Not many miesters can do it, huh?" Merlie repeated, thinking now. If she practiced with Kirby in between classes and missions, she'd surely make better use of her soul wavelength than what she'd just done with it. From what Tsubaki and Black☆Star had said, Merlie figured this was a hard thing to do -- so many hours of practice would be required if she wanted to pursure it.
Suddenly, from behind them, the purple clown Merlie had thought she'd finished off raised itself from the rubble. Merlie's jaw nearly dropped. She's put so much into fighting that thing and now it was coming back for more?
"Kirby, transform again; let's finish that thing for good this time."

"Merlie, you can't," Kirby looked to the clown with disbelieving eyes. He couldn't let Merlie get up and fight again. She wasn't even able to stand without him holding her up. Now looking at Black☆Star, he asked, "Can you...? I mean, it's nearly dead anyways.... and Merlie can't...." He was at a loss for words on how to ask for help. He felt useless to his partner and to Tsubaki and Black☆Star.

Soul changed back and stood by Maka, wary of the little green leeches scattered on the ground. "I can carry her," He told Maka of Zoey. It wouldn't have been very cool to make Maka carry himself and Zoey. Not to mention that Maka was pretty scrawny.

"Medusa," Colt smiled crookedly. "'Course I've heard of her. Who hasn't? Besides Kirby. Yeah, I like her well enough. I might be able to deal with her givin' me orders. So, uh, where do you guys make your headquarters or whatnot?"

OOC: In my head, I hear Colt talking with a Brooklyn accent. xD (Newsies!) Did that totally just kill his badboy motif for some of ya? lol

 

Maka gave Soul a look and muttered under her breath, "Do you think I'm really that weak?" Nonetheless, Maka set Koji back on the ground gently to leave him with Professor Stien and then made her way over to Zoey. She knelt down by the new student and looked her over. She didn't seem hurt, but Zoey was acting like she was sick. Maka sighed out and then picked up the blindfold that she saw laying near Zoey. "Okay, you carry her then." Maka suddenly saw something from the corner of her eye and looked down. One of the leeches were wriggling right towards her right leg. Her hair instantly stood on end and her girly instincts kicked in for just a moment. "EWWW!" Maka pulled out a book from no where and smashed it down on the leech with a satisfied squishing sound. The leech guts splattered in many directions, which grossed Maka out even more and she cringed in disgust.The young miester shuddered, seeing that the leech was dead but its remains still hung off of her book. "What do these things do anyways? I know they attach themselves to what ever they can... but what's their purpose?" Maka then looked around her to see that the leeches that were just lying around before were starting to shrivel up and almost disintegrated out of sight. Maka made a face, not wanting to know why they were doing that. 'At least they're disappearing...'

Zoey listened to the voices as she laid there on the cool concrete floor, still feeling like a total idiot for getting Koji hurt and getting them into this mess. 'Maybe Lord Death meant for another pair to go on this mission...' Hearing somebody by her side, Zoey opened her eyes, forgetting about what happened earlier when she did it before. There she saw the outline of what it appeared to be a girl, but she couldn't see the details. She just saw Maka as another shade of green, only darker in color so she could tell which was the background and which was the person she was focusing on. You could almost say that it was like having super night version, but it was useless if you could only open your eyes for so long without them aching and feel like something was stabbing them. Especially if Zoey was exposed to any kind of light with her eyes wide opened, even the dim light of a candle made her reel over in pain. She couldn't pick out any details what so ever, and even after a while her vision would start to sway as though she was spun around and around several times.

Catching Zoey's movement from the corner of her eye, Maka glanced at her just in time to see Zoey open her eyes. Maka's eyes widened when she saw Zoey's eyes. She was expecting them to have a glossy film over them, since that's what blind people usually had... but instead of a glossy, silver color, it was a bright neon green color; it was like some kind of slime was attached to her eyes. Maka didn't know what to think about this. She never seen anything like it before, but it made her almost feel sad. What if she was in a situation like that? What would she do? "Soul..."

Feeling sick and pain starting to stab at her eyes again, Zoey closed her eyes tightly, shutting the world out once again. She was getting her energy back slowly, which allowed her to hold her hands over her eyes and dig the heel of her palms into them. She was trying to stop the pain, relieve the pressure of her eyes. She wished that this never happened to her, but what if it never did...? Would she still be alone and wandering on the streets? Never made friends with Koji or anyone? Pushing away her self pity, Zoey suddenly remembered her purpose of walking down this way in the first place. "Children... I think I heard children earlier..." Zoey still clutched at her eyes, but she was going to make sure she got her theory across before she was taken out of this place. "I heard someone... crying..." Zoey swallowed hard, finding it difficult to speak anymore. Her energy was still trying to recuperate after all.

Beside the leech marks, that was all the wounds Koji had on the outside. Inwardly, he was somewhat fried from being electrocuted by the leech's negative soul wavelength when Zoey tried to pull them off earlier to save him. He didn't want to be moved, he just wanted to lay there and wait for the pain and the nauseated stomach to go away. Other than that, he was okay. He just needed to charge back up again. When Koji heard Zoey talking, he decided to pitch in with the rest of the story. "When we got separated from you guys... we were trying to find a way out of here... Zoey heard crying... I heard it too..." Koji forced his eyes to open, and then he saw Professor Stein above him. The guy sure crept him out, but now wasn't the time to be scared of him. "I don't think it came from the guy that attacked us either..."

A faint noise of a sob echoed softly through the corridors. It was so quiet, it would almost be missed if people weren't paying attention to it at all.

Black☆Star twisted around to see the creepy clown coming towards them. He couldn't help but to grin as he turned around to face it. "Sure thing! Besides, the last one that Maka had to deal with went down in one hit, I bit this will probably be over kill." Black☆Star jumped in front of the clown in a series of acrobatic moves, and then slammed himself against the clown. "Certain Kill: Black☆Star Big Wave!" The clown was thrown backwards and then it self destructed when it came in contact with the ground. Now it was certain that one was down for the count. Black☆Star threw his head back and let out another victory laugh. "That was too easy!"

Sid couldn't help but to throw his head back and laugh. "You mean you can't tell?! That's a first." Sid brought his head back down and folded his arms. "Well, not all humans are blue, you see? And not all people walk around with a hole in their head. So if you haven't guessed yet, I'm a zombie."

"Guess we have no choice," Liz sighed out as she did the same thing as Patty and turned into a pistol in Kid's hand.

"Not so fast," Sekira said while looking at Colt. "We don't just let anyone drop in out of the blue, that sparks spying and treason." Sekira looked around her, seeing that Grendel pretty much cleaned it all up. However, there was one guy that was just wonded, trying to crawl and get away from his death call. Sekira walked over to the kid and picked him up by the scruff of the neck, still having her claws out, and dragged him over to Colt. She then threw the kid in between them and bore her eyes down on Colt. "Now... finish him."

 

ooc on psp so i have to come back later to edit in the colors Terra became a bright yellow light on Grendel's hand. Insantly after changing the light jumped into the air and formed a ball of dark blue light. That light then went to the ground next to Grendel and changed into Terra's human form. She looked over to Grendel and smiled. "Nice job. You've gotten so many souls for us." OOC- lolz no more characters left for beyond or tsubaki

 

"Oh my. So very serious. Straight onto business eh? I like that in men. Heeheehee!" Nox giggled. "And I see you are a gunslinger as well. How delightful! You can wait your turn young man. I do enjoy seeing a battle of swords and guns." Nox grinned at Kid before winking at Seth. She showed off her thigh as she took out the Beretta she carried with her. "Well then. Let us see who is the better crackshot." she said. Nox suddenly jumped high in the sky doing a side somersault to land on a building across the street. In the distance between, she fired at Kid as she flipped upside down and over again. Her round was almost up. After she landed, she stayed in a crouch, prepared to leap and dodge a retaliating attack.

 

Yuki practically face-palmed himself. 'I'm such an idiot!' He thought. He couldn't believe he asked such a stupid question. 'I guess I was too busy thinking about my Weapon to notice.' He thought. Yuki took another look at Sid. 'And blue skin? How could I have not noticed it?' After a moment of silence Yuki spoke, "Well, thanks for the schedule! Hope to see ya around!" He turned around and walked away, squeezing through the crowds of people. Yuki decided to take a seat right by a wall. He looked around the room. "One of these people has to be my Weapon." Yuki quietly murmured to himself, sighing.
