Kingdom Hearts II Sora's Future

What will Noruma and crew do with the first Keyblade wielder especially after his last game seemed to basically close the characters life at a nice high end with vague descriptions of a new adventure. (like At World's End)

Is Sora going to be the main focus for 2010's KHIII? Or will it be the game that folllows Riku for the first time keeping up with Noruma's new following of characters such as Roxas, Terra and the Virtual Sora?

 

Side games are the ones where you get to control different characters. The main games will always be about Sora.

 

Yeah, I doubt that there will be a "main" Kingdom Hearts game that has anyone but Sora as the main focus. It's just not practical for it to be anyone else.

 

I do believe that Sora will likely be the main character but what will happen with him? He saved Riku, destroyed Xehanort's Heartless and Nobody. Kairi and the other Princesses were rescued the only thing I can see in the future is Maleficent's revenge on Sora but she became an Anti-Hero in the last game.

 

Umm, no she didn't. If I remember right, she told Sora like, "Flee now, but I will get my revenge!" Or something of that sort in TWTNW, she's still a velian.

 

Antiheroes have said stuff like that some examples of guys who said stuff like that are Vegeta, Prince Zuko, Hiei, Piccolo, Prince Namor and Captain Barbossa.

 

Thats a good question and i think he will be a side charactor in the next KH games cuz he doesnt have much more to worry about

Sora and co. and possibly Terra and co. will be in it as well as these quotes hint:

I like Sora. He probably will be in the next game. They did leave you hanging at the end of KH2, even though most games do that and never have sequels. Nomura does love Roxas though, there might be more of him

 

Well, the Heartless are still around aren't they? And Xehanort could come back...because Axel returned to his original state...so why can't he? Why can't any of Organization XIII really? Not that I think it will happen with all of them, but Axel could be a player character in the next Kingdom Hearts, and Xehanort could be a villain...Maleficent will definitely return...I'd say he's still got his work cut out for him. He may have stopped Organization XIII, but the Nobodies are still around, along with the Heartless. I think Kingdom Hearts III will most likely be about Xehanort again, if not him personally, then his legacy...because the secret movie, though it was a preview of a side game, still had Xehanort in it...

Which would be a preview of Kingdom Hearts III (I mean Another Side, Another Story was about Kingdom Hearts 356/2 days or whatever.)

 

Sora will probably always be the main character in the main KH games. As for the side games like BBS, it will probably be a new character.

 

Or, they could always just make up a new villain, kinda like they did with the Nobodies. Who were unmentioned in Kingdom Hearts 1. Or the villains in BbS, who are still pretty much unmentioned.

 

I actually think KHIII will be the grand finale of the series. (unless something else has been confirmed) Pulling all the loose strings together that will explain everything. BBS (and possibly 358/2 Days) may have a vital connection to the last game, how I don't know. Maybe Mickey found out about a threat that had been growing unknown to all? Maybe it has something to do with the Xehanort in BBS? Or the 14th member of the Org? Definatly something about Maleficent, no doubt.

Either way, I think we'd have to play as Sora again, but what I would WANT is to pick your own team. Do you want to play as Sora, Riku, Kairi (why not?) - do you want Donald and Goofy in your team, or just have a duo, or simply be alone? It's an option I long for in KH games.

 

I think KHIII might be the finale for Xehanort and such, but not for the series... They're making too much money to quit, XD.
