Kingdom Hearts Sora's drawing of Kairi

So, in the flashbacks, Kairi and Sora are seen drawing each other on the cave wall.

Kairi's drawing of Sora shows him in a normal way, but Sora's of Kairi shows her looking injured and messy.

Is just the way him and Riku saw her when she washed ashore, or did he hate her at the time?

your right really, the drawing was ment to symbolise the bound between Sora and Kairi with the star being the paupu fruit that combinds destinies, and the fact Kairi's picture was better than Sora's links with the ability of Naminai and her drawings......also Sora just can't draw

 

Umm though I can agree with u I have to point out namine wasent in existince at the time of those drawings

 

yes, but the fact Kairi can draw fortells that ner nobody will be able to as well it just happens that her powers come from her drawings...

 

I'd say that it was the way he found her. You don't hate someone and draw yourself giving a paopu fruit to them.
Kairi was just a better artist, like docyx said, Namine had to get her skills from somewhere

 

Seconding the Kairi is just a better artist. I remember always looking at the drawing and thinking Kairi must have taken a long time to color all of that in so well, lol.

Also, I thought the 'injury' Rho mentioned was her blushing.

 

To go with that, Sora drew his arm giving Kairi the Paopu fruit and at the end of KH1, Kairi did the same.
Look at the hands, Kairi's seems better than Sora...I mean, Sora only gave himself three fingers lol

I agree with what others said and I thought the 'injury' on her face was actually meant to be Kairi blushing, or just having rosy cheeks.

Kairi was clearly the better artist and it was a good thing too or probably Namine would have really had some horrible drawings for us to see. Sora has all the imagination in the world, but I think he truly does have trouble putting it down on paper. xD

 

I agree that Sora is a terrible artist. The fact tthat he worked so hard on it to come out like that, and the fact that he's a warrior type kid and a guy (not being stereotypical), it's probably that.

Kairi is more delicate, so if SE was going with the stereotypes, they would make her the better artist, and keep her as a girly girl. Even in Kingdom Hearts II, she didn't have a very fight type keyblade, but a flowery one.

 

Yeah.. I thought it was her blushing as well~

Also.. Sora's not exactly bright.. i thought his ****** drawing was meant to symbolise that o.o xDD

 

I'm pretty sure it's because Sora can't draw. It's kind of hard to carve a good picture on stone with just a sharp rock.

Some of her drawings are good, especially where she draws places, but there are some pretty amateur drawings there as well. xD

 

Pretty much what everyone's said, Sora just lacks the brain to be a good artist. Of course, you're all forgetting, it's the thought that counts, and it was pretty sweet. c:

The drawing was sweet indeed, but heck. xD

 

Maybe the graphics were messed up on Sora's part. Unlikely though it may also be that Riku might have screwed with it out of jealousy seeing as there was a love triangle in the manga. All in all it was a cute segment for the game.

 

the simple answer is: Sora can't draw
When you compare the fruit the two drew, his is still bad compared to kairi's

 

Kairi is really a great artist, just like Naminé. And Sora... well...
The "injured and messy" part I think is just because the Sora isn't a great artist.
I wish I could draw like Naminé! Of course, with the power of make some memories to some people. "t(^.^)
