"So, did you like those treats? I apologize taking you from father."

 

He nodded. "What were they?"

 

"A vampire version of a pie. I saw a little girl following you earlier, who is she?"

 

He shrugged.

 

"You mustn't tell anyone I'm here or I have to leave you."

 

"Okay mommy."

 

She nuzzles his neck. "What should we do for our reunion, hm?"

 

He purred and giggled.

 

She smiles. "How about hunting rabbits and chipmunks?"

 

"That's fine."

 

"Did father teach you how to hunt yet?" She asks as she walks into the forest.
The boy walks towards Sephiroth and Mei. "My head hurts."
She hides behind Sephiroth, as usual when meeting new people.

 

"No." "That's just your brother, Malik."

 

She looks at him unconvincingly.
"Once you get the basics, you can move on to bigger prey and get creative." She places him on the floor.

 

He started sniffing around on all fours. "Go on." He pushed her forward with a tentacle.

 

She teleports herself onto the highest tree to get a better view.
Once she is a step away from him, Mei walks around him in circles as she sniffs his scent.
"What're you doing?" He asks as he watches her.

 

He found a turtle and struggled to pry open it's shell.

 

"Inspecting you, a scent says a lot of things about an individual."
"Is this really neccessary, Sephiroth?"
She watches.

 

"Yes." He gave up on trying to pry it open and sat on top of the shell and waited for it to stick out it's head.

 

"Why? It is making me uncomfortable."
She watches in amusement as a smile crept to her face.

 

"Because." He tore into the head once it popped out.
