Sora's Darkness

"Could you please teach me how to read once we get back?" She asks as she watches him walk by her.
She struggles to get out of his grip since he can only name three.
He embraces her, hoping it would calm her down.
Except it has the opposite effect and she tries even harder.

 

"Sure." He said as he brushed some of his unruly silver hair that went down to his shoulder blades out of his face. He tightened his grip.

 

She walks beside Orochi with her feet picking up higher than usual.
She became more violent and bites her son's skin.
He hissed quietly.

 

He opened a door and tilted his head at the strange sight of his dad and brother holding back a female who he could swear he saw before.

 

Curious, she sniffs at the things nearby then looks at the woman. "Is she the traitor you mentioned?"
She turns her head to the doorway to a man and a wolf. "You!" She turns her direction towards her son who betrayed her.
He restrains her as much as he could. "Hey Orochi, Mei. Long time no see."

 

He nodded at his brother then focused his attention back on the woman. "I can tell you're Jenovian due to your silver hair but I don't know who you are. Grandma told me once that all of her kind that are still alive lives in this castle."

 

She tilts her head at her friend.
"You dare to befriend with a wolf. Once I get there, you'll be sorry, young man!"
"She's our mom, Orochi, she's back from a coma."
She bites harder into his flesh.

 

His eyes narrowed and a scowl spread across his face as he turned and walked away.

 

"Grandpa, knock her out or something." He said as he lets go.
She breaks free from Sephiroth then runs after Orochi.
She growls and bares her teeth to the woman. "She's the traitor, right?"

 

He mentally knocked her out. "Yes." He answered as he wiped his eyes with his sleeve to wipe the freshly-shed tears off his face as his black angelic wings trembled.

 

She falls down right before Mei.
She places her paws on his chest then licks his face to wipe the tears. "Let's go to the library, master."

 

He smiled and nodded then headed off to the library.

 

She walks beside him.
He casts cure on himself. "Did you guys say anything like she's my sister or something close to that?"

 

They shook their heads.

 

"So she just got riled up because her latest ex came to see her and there's a wolf in the castle. I've never seen her so enraged before."
"Which book do you want to read this time?"

 

He picked a book off the shelf that was an orange-yellow color and from where Mei was, if she could read, she would be able to make out the words 'Deathly Hallows.'

 

I read it.
"I guess I'll try. All of those letters don't make any sense to me."

 

He sat down on a squishy beanbag chair and gestured for her to sit next to him.

 

She obeys and walks over to his side then looks at the black lines but still she couldn't understand anything.
"What are you guys going to do with her now?"

 

He shrugged. He pointed to an 'A'. "That's an 'A', like at the beginning of apple."
