Sora's Darkness

"You like her more than a friend, don't you?"

 

"Maybe." He said, not wanting to betray his feelings to him.

 

"It is alright." He assures him. "I have nothing against it, but you should worry about your own safety as well as hers."

 

He stayed silent as a tear leaked from his eye, thinking about what will happen if the darkness took over her.

 

As though he read his mind, he said, "Just take it slow and cherish your time with her."

 

"You mean it will happen?!" He yelled at him as he cried into her fur.

 

She nuzzles him comfortingly.
"Try not to think too much about it. As long as your feelings are strong then everything will turn out fine."

 

"How can I not think about it?! She's my first friend!"

 

"Talk to your dad about this situation. He has darkness as well and controls over it quite well."

 

"Wouldn't taking out the darkness destroy her?"

 

"Her mother was pregnant when darkness killed the pack so I guess it is similar. The only way is for her to control it."

 

He eventually ran out of tears to shed.

 

She lifts her head weakly from exhaustion. "Why were you crying Master Orochi?"

 

He wiped his eyes with his sleeve and stayed silent.

 

She licks his salty tears. "That's alright, you don't have to say anything. So, shall we go back?"

 

"You still look tired."

 

"If you insist."

 

He put his head back on her back though he still looked depressed.

 

"Do you want to talk about it?" She asks without looking at him.

 

He shook his head.
