"Daddy." She begs. "Daddy!"

 

"What's wrong?"

 

"Do you hate me or love me daddy? I want to hear it from the true you."

 

"Your affection for me makes me love you but some of your comments make me hate you."

 

She mentally smiles. "That's fair since it is the same over here. There's no another chance for me, is there?"

 

"Afraid not." He said as Jenova curled up in his arms and leaned her head against his chest.

 

"That's fine. I won't look for another lover. I will wait for you and still be your daughter."

 

"Do you know how long you'll be asleep?"

 

"Yes, Nyx the demon told me before she departed."

 

"So that's her name."

 

"Yeah." She replies.

 

He sat down on the top of the castle with Jenova still in his arms.

 

He tests out his powers outside of the castle.

 

He looked down and could see flashes of magic.

 

He repairs the damage before trying another one.

 

He looked out at the vast forest as the wind stirred his hair.

 

All of his bottled emotion release at once that it made a long path down the road. Looking at the damage, that was beyond his powers. "Oops."

 

They both laughed at Malik's mistake.
