"After we see the pyreflies." He said as he pulled the hood of his cloak over his face.

She found a lone pyrefly and reacts startled.
He pulls the hood over his mother.

He wrapped his arms around her. "Don't worry, they're harmless."

 

She mumbles something.

He put a little hood over Orochi's head.

 

"Sorry, it is just they are so pretty that I could express in a different language."
"Cloud says she wants to do something but she's holding back because of the pack."

 

"Why don't you just use Jenovian then?" He asked as he led her towards a group of lily pads with a swarm of pyreflies flying around them.

 

"The souls that have restless slumber, I beseech thee may fall into a peaceful dream at the end of the journey." She said in Jenovian.
"That is a wonderful prayer."

 

"It sure is." He said as he stroked her hair.

 

"Thank you guys." She wraps an arm around him while holding Orochi.

 

He watched as a pyrefly landed on his nose.

 

She rests her head on her lover as she watches their child.

 

He grabbed the pyrefly and put it in his mouth.

 

She gasps, fearing for both of them. "Honey..." she said carefully to her son, "don't bite or swallow the pyrefly."

 

"Relax, it's just a soul." He tickled Orochi's stomach, causing him to giggle and release the pyrefly. "Besides, babies like to put things in their mouths."

 

Her body shakes as she thought of something.
"Mother!"

 

He wrapped his arms around her and stroked her hair.

 

She relaxes in his embrace.
"She was thinking about something Orochi would swallow and then he would choke. Maternal instinct plays in here."

 

"I can use my magic to dissolve the object if Orochi chokes on something."
