"I hate hospitals, reminds me of the lab."

 

"I can see why." She seated herself at the very back of the bed could give her. "She's asking for patient's information."

 

"She's a vampire and alien, eight months pregnant and her muscles are sore."

 

She mentally sighs once the nurse left. "I hope this our last time being here."

 

"Same." He said as his eyes focused on a jar full of needles.

 

"I'm never good with patience."

 

"And I'm never good in places that are like labs." He said as he fidgeted nervously in his seat.

 

"Want to fly a bit? It is going to take a while."

 

Dane Cook is funny.

He shook his head as his wings were trembling and folded tight to his body.

 

"Weren't one of your military tactics is to scout the area? Besides, the least thing I need is a father nervous because of the setting."

 

"I've already scouted out the area in my mind."

 

"I wonder if it is possible to will other things."

 

"What do you mean?"

 

She turns to look at him. "I can't wait any longer."

 

"Just be patient. You're acting like Cloud."

 

"Then why don't you try to help me keep my mind off of it?"

 

"Because I'm too busy trying to keep my own mind off of where I am."

 

"Be honest, are my powers weaker than Cloud's?"

 

"Probably not since you're a Jenovian and a vampire, but I'm not sure."

 

She positions the bed into lying down position then pulls the blanket over her with her back facing to him.
