"You want me to be near them or away from them?"

 

"Near." She wills them to her body but the process is painful for her as she scrunches up her face.

 

He massages her shoulder blades.

 

Her face relaxes at his touch as the wings became easier and went limp.

 

"Is it easier now?"

 

"Yes. Why can't you do it?"

 

He shrugs. "Too much power I suppose."

 

She holds her throat with both of her hands as though she can't breathe. At the same time she opens her eyes.

 

"Luana, what's wrong?!" He cries out in alarm.

 

"I-I-I...do not know. This never happened before!"

 

"What does it feel like?"

 

"Suffocating."

 

"Cloud, is this your doing?!"

 

"No, I'm too busy to do whatever that's harming Luana."

 

"Any idea what it is then?"

 

"I could say asthma but other parts of her body are reacting."

 

"Do you think it's time for the baby?"

 

"No, but this problem does involve with her pregnancy."

 

"What can we do to help her?"

 

"I'm still new at this, so I don't know the answer. Anticipate whatever throws at you."
