The only response he got was a child's crying.

 

The machine drains the mako then she steps out to dry herself. Luana looks at herself in the mirror and everything worked. She heads to Sephiroth's room.

 

He was curled up on the bed alone.

 

She sits down on the bed. "Hey." She said softly as she rubs his back.

 

He recoiled from her touch.

 

She pulls her hand back. "I need you Sephiroth."

 

He whimpered and buried his head in a pillow.

 

"I'm not grandpa!" She tries to hug herself. "I did it for us."

 

He looked up to her and Seph was looking through his eyes.

 

She tilts her head in confusion.

 

He gestured her to come into his mind.

 

She looks wearily at the adult before transferring herself into his mind.

 

He was sitting against a wall with Stripe in his lap and his face buried in his hands while he cried.

 

"Seph, why did you invite me here?"

 

He pointed to the orb of sanity and every inch of it was covered in cracks.

 

She knew that's her doing. It took a lot of her to hold back her tears. "Is he gone from my reach?"

 

"Probably." He said in a muffled voice.

 

"I really, really need him." She said as she cries.

 

"Then why did you leave us?"

 

"Because I want to do something for us."
