He cradled her in his arms.

 

She places a hand on her sleeping past self's head. "Say like a decade?"

 

The past one turned away from her as his head lowered.

"See? He's still devastated."

 

She shifts lightly in his arms.

"Thank god time is being merciful on you two."

 

"M-merciful? You call being away from your beloved for a decade merciful?!"

 

"Your future self had twentyfold and I don't think the timer started yet. I saw her moved."

 

He walked off to his room.

 

"Seph?" She asks in a hoarse voice.

 

"What is it?" He asked while sobbing.

 

"This is hard for you but please take care of my baby. No sadness please."

 

"You mean Sephiroth?"

 

"Yes. Can you?"

 

"It's impossible without you."

 

"I'll use telepathy then."

 

He laid her on his bed and sat on the edge with his head lowered.

 

She strokes his hair. "I'm tired. It is natural you need rest. Hopefully it will be shorter."

 

He whimpered and trembled.

 

She sits at the edge of the bed then embraces him. "Want a family of our own?"

 

"You're going to go asleep for ten years soon, so why bother?"

 

"How about once I get up? Do you still want to?"
