"He's new to it too." He chuckled. "In my timeline, you were the one with all the experience."

 

She lowers her head. "I don't think experience is something to be proud of. Yours was quite awful."

 

"Your future self seems to think otherwise."

 

"Whatever you're here for, please forget it." She said as she cries.

 

He wrapped his arms around her and stroked her hair.

 

"What does this time have to do to make you guys leave?"

 

He sighed before opening the door and leaving the room.

 

She stomps off in an opposite direction towards the forest.

 

He perched on the roof of the castle with his wings drooped.

 

She sniffs the air. "Cloud's here." She runs eagerly towards his scent.

 

The past one teleported in front of her and grabbed her arm in an iron grip with an emotionless look on his face.

 

She nods in understanding. "Your future self upset me about the future me."

She wraps her wings around him.

 

He wrapped his arms around her. "That's no reason to go back to Cloud. You still have me."

He hissed and pushed her away.

 

She rests her head on his shoulder. "I'm glad for that."

"I don't remember what I did wrong to deserve that."

 

He stroked her hair.

 

"How are the chocobos?" She asks dreamily.

 

"They're fine."

 

"Another 'session'?"

 

He kissed her lips gently.

 

She mentally smiles and returns it.
