She swallows. "How many did you bring?"

 

"About fifteen."

 

She speeds up so there's only five left remaining. "These don't have a strong flavor anymore."

 

"You mean the fear?"

"I guess. These don't have anything exciting. How about breed them?"

 

"You calmed them down which removed the fear taste."

 

"Even if I do, that won't satisfy my hunger."

 

"Hunger for what? Blood? Seeing other people in pain? Something else?"

 

"Both of them. Those mortals happen to know each other."

 

"Then drain one of them and unparalyze the rest to see what happens."

 

"Ok but I don't want a third wheel."

 

"As if they could hurt you."

 

"As if we have anything to do." She cups the most attracting one.

 

"Immortality can get boring."

 

"We got all the time we need. Can't we just breed a perfect meal?"

 

"If you want to."

 

"Pick your victim, dear." She said as she shuts all the exits.

 

He poked one human's cheek who slapped his hand away. "This one's a fighter." He said as he grabbed it by the neck.

 

She unparalyzes the other four. "The survivors have to breed once their companion is dead."
