"What are you here for?"
"Looking for Mei. Do you know where I can find her?"

 

"Don't bother. She's depressed out of her wits."

 

Ronda runs up to him and hugs him.
He smiles softly then picks her up and nuzzles her.
She giggles and kisses his cheek.

 

"Sorry for running off earlier. When my necklace flickers, it means my wife is close to death."

 

He blinks several times, making sure he's not dreaming. "Your wife is Luana?!"
"Ronda looks happy with a stranger."

 

"Of course. Who did you think it was?" "Of course she is. He looks like Malik."

 

"But she's younger than you."
"He's looking at her differently."

 

"Only by about twenty-five years."

 

She blushes.
"Want to chase birds away, Ronda?"
She nods. "Can I Seph?"

 

"I know you're blushing." "Sure."

 

"Seems like thirty-two years apart." She mumbles as her face grew redder.
She takes Bryant by the hand and leads him to the backyard.
"Is there anything else you know about him?"

 

"What's an extra year or seven when you're immortal?" "Not really."

 

"That's like marrying your parent or child."
"The only information you can grasp is that he's Malik's son centuries later?"

 

"Technically it is." "Pretty much and he's come to see the Strife part of the family."

 

She buries her face in his mane and whines.
"At least you didn't change."
"Which women does Malik likes enough to marry?"
"Mei, are you here?"
"Mom!" She calls.

 

"She does have three children with me though." "I'm not the one to ask."

 

She sobs.
"Aren't you a bit curious?"

 

He shushed her as he stroked her with his tail. "About that stuff, no."
