She lifts her head alarmed. "But... the ocean..."

 

He put a comforting hand on her shoulder. "Relax. It did fine without you there and it'll make it through without you as well."

 

"I don't know how this is supposed to help, papa."

 

"The castle is your home and being at home makes you feel safe which prevents nightmares. Plus if you have anymore, I can go into your mind to see what they're about."

 

"How are you supposed to know when I have one when I can't use telepathy?"

 

"The signs of a nightmare are pretty obvious. Screaming, thrashing, whimpering, etcetera."

 

She nods. "Ok, I'll stay."

 

He put her back into her own mind.

 

She opens a portal to her room then smiles as she felt her blanket then goes to sleep.

 

"She's been having nightmares and someone threatened to kill her if she told me what they were about." He informed Garnet.

 

"No wonder is didn't eat anything recently. Her anxiety is getting in the way."

 

"Good thing we figured out about it. She'll be spending some time here to see if it helps her."

 

"I was going to lecture about not following instructions when I notice the subjects are panicking."

 

"Can you calm them down and tell them their queen will be away on personal business?"

 

"Will do."
"Do you think it is a new enemy?"

 

"Probably just Sora or Saxor."

 

"Doesn't sound like them. They like to show themselves."

 

"Malik, perhaps?"

 

"He would prefer avoiding harm to Ronda than hurting his half-sister."

 

"I can't think of anyone else."
