She licks his cheeks.
"Is there anything close to that value she'll like?"
She's a wolf, not human.

 

He nuzzles her nose. "What about the necklace?"

 

She takes a few steps back. "I believe that's impossible."
She mentally smiles as she nuzzles back.

 

"Well, there was one other thing I was saving for you."​

 

She lies down on her stomach.
"Fine." She unties then places in front of her daughter's eyes. "Want this?"
She shakes her head.

 

He took a small black velvet case out of a pocket in his trenchcoat and looked at it thoughtfully.

 

Both girls look at him questioningly.
He applies the pressure.
"Do you know how?"

 

"Yes, but I don't prefer it that way." He smiled and opened the case, revealing a ring with various colors of dazzling jewels, from onyxs to diamonds on it. "This, Luana, was going to be my surprise wedding ring for you, but I'll give it up if it means getting your hearts back."

 

Again, she shakes her head.
She closes her senses, fearing the worst.
"Master, if your baby was older, she would accept it."

 

He put the ring away and pulled up his sleeve before cutting his wrist to let his mako blood drip into her mouth.

 

She accepts it but still wouldn't give up the heart.
She walks out of her room.
"Permission to follow your lady, master."

 

"Granted. The child should be at the age where she will accept the ring for the heart in no time."

 

"My suggestion is to ask your younger self." He follows after Luana.
She pulls away then looks at the mirror, which the skin didn't change.

 

He ruffles her hair. "Why don't you get some rest?"

 

"Do you prefer your way? Is that it?"
She shakes her head.

 

"Honestly, yes." "Why not? I promise I won't take the heart while you sleep."

 

She hisses and clutches it closer to her.
She lifts an eyebrow. "And what are you thinking?"

 

"The same jumbled thoughts as usual." "I said I won't. How about I stay out of the room and put a barrier around the door while you sleep?"

 

She snorts.
She transforms into a human. "Just don't be gentle."

 

"What will make you be able to trust me?" "Of course not." He said as he entered her roughly.
